    I get random restarts on my isp provided aclatel-lucent I-040GW router/modem/ap with wifi switched off. Seems to be random My connection speed is 300m/100m but when I get these restarts I'm far from staurating this connection. EDIT: The router crashed not restarted.

    there is no limit and they won't slow your speed to a crawl no matter how much you use. Someone Used 5 FRIGGIN TERABYTES of data and the isp didn't slow his connection down the speed depends on your signal strength and your hardware as they won't put any limits on the speed
