Yes we do use Steam out here in India, mostly for games like CS:GO, DOTA 2 and other multiplayer titles more often than single player games. It's gained a lot of traction because we get to play a lot of games for way cheaper than buying physical discs. Steam is one of the only online platform when introduced here that puts prices on games in our currency so it got to the front of the pack quite quickly.
