  1. So I’m not sure what to use here. Does it matter which end I put where? Do I even use both endings here? Please, if anyone can help, that would be great.
  2. That's what I bought and I power an RTX 2070 with it. It's a really solid PSU and it runs nice and smooth.
  3. Yes. He has an RTX 2070, 32gb of ram, and a cpu that draws quite a bit of power.
  4. You're going to want a more powerful PSU for the high-end build. I'd recommend at least 750 or so.
  5. More storage is a must. 500gb will fill up quickly. I'd also try to find a better GPU, which may require a beefier power supply. I picked up an RTX 2070 for about 40 dollars more than the GPU you have on that list, however I did get an excellent deal on it.
  6. X570 is really expensive and this board is top of the line X470 which is ideal. If you have any other suggestions though I'd gladly take a look.
  7. I'm limited because I have terrible parts now. I would do more intense things but I cannot given my current specs. I'd get C16 ram but it doesn't come in 3600 mhz and I want to go with the vengeance rgb pro.
  8. I've recently been upgrading my main system. Everything has been replaced except for the CPU, mobo, and RAM. I'm not 100% sure if I'm making the best choice but I've decided to go with a Ryzen 5 3600X, 16gb of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ram (3600mhz c18), and an Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero x470 board. I'm looking for some input on this because I can't find solid answers anywhere. I don't play very intense games and I don't do heavy work either, but that is partially because I'm limited by my current system. Thanks for any input.
  9. I'd also like to add to this repost that I tested the second Node Pro and got the exact same results. Is the unit just defective? I'm wondering if it's just the wires that connect it to the Node Pro, because this happens to all the lights.
  10. Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I've completed my PC upgrades. (All products are from Corsair.) I installed 4 LL120 RGB fans with Lighting Node Pro and an RM750X PSU with excellent results. I also bought a separate Node Pro RGB because it was super cheap. It comes with 4 RGB strips for your PC case and also comes with the lighting node hub. There are two slots on them, and since I plugged the 4 fans into a fan hub which leads to the Node Pro, I had one other slot to plug in the RGB strip chain and I ended up not needed the second Node Pro hub. The fans work great and exactly as they should, but the lighting strip doesn't even turn on. As far as I can tell, it has all been installed correctly, and since the fans use the same Node Pro and work fine, I don't know what is wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  11. Yes, they are on in iCUE but they don't work at all. Usually, when you boot it up, everything turns on to the default rainbow spiral setting, but the strips don't even turn on when it boots.
  12. Well, you might have to buy something like Glenwing linked. You'll have to go into your display settings and then choose to have separate displays and not mirrored, though I'm not sure if it will work since the PC will be outputting to the one DisplayPort. Good luck.
  13. I only used one because I only needed one, but primarily because it's easier and less cluttered and I only had one USB slot on the mobo.
  14. Is the RAM cooled in any way? It might be fine if you buy heatsinks to put over the RAM itself.
  15. You don't have to. Do you want your displays to be duplicated or separate?
  16. I don't believe it is. Two computers cannot read and write simultaneously on one consumer hard drive, but I think they do on servers, though that's far more complex and they're dedicated to that purpose. With all due respect, as I kinda like the idea, your concept would not work.
  17. If you need speed, then absolutely. M.2 is much faster than SATA. If I'm not mistaken, the bottleneck of SATA SSDs is SATA itself. As far as I know, the M.2 970 Evo isn't too expensive, unless you go for a very high capacity. If you have the money, go for it.
  18. If you want the monitors to be duplicated, then yes. But if you only have two monitors with one HDMI port being used, why do you need the splitter if you're already buying an adapter to use the second monitor?

  20. Sorry everyone, turns out I just messed up with a cable. Clearly I was not descriptive enough, I’ve been working at this for days so I’m exhausted. The system boots now, thank you all for responding.
  21. So I just got a new PSU (corsair rm750x) and it has a two separate things that connect to the psu and then the one big one that connects to the mobo. One has a total of 10 slots and the other has 20. Do I connect both into the PSU?
  22. He means in game, turn the graphics way up. For example, if you have it on low quality graphics, change it to high.
  23. Purchased my K95 RGB Platinum in July 2017. It's still an excellent keyboard nearly 2 years later. No hardware issues, it has some really nice features, not to mention the price is lower now than it was back then. If you're willing to spend the money, I would 100% recommend it.
  24. Is there a chance your CPU graphics are on and your GPU isn't the one doing the work?
  25. No problem. Enjoy your system and good luck building!
