Hey Linus fans!
As a personal project, I have been constructing a custom case. I challenged myself to create this case using minimal store-bought parts. The base is the only piece of wood that was purchased, the rest came from a palette. The second hand nature of the wood used for the walls led to the curvature seen in the images linked below. This case will be wall-mounted, and I have included images of my progress so far. (All parts currently in the case are scrap. They were used for aligning and drilling motherboard mounting holes and aligning the PSU, etc.)
Parts list (open to suggestions):
Asus Prime B350-Plus
AMD Ryzen 7 (model not decided)
Moderate GPU
Preferably modular power supply
Water cooling (kit or custom assembly)
So here is where I need suggestions. I plan to add water cooling, as well as cable management and piping holes, location advice for each of these things are appreciated. In addition, I need suggestions for a cover. I would prefer to have this as a closed system with an acrylic or glass top, so removable mounting advice is appreciated. Currently, I have an L bracket (seen in the images below) supporting the PSU in two dimensions. The only way it is not secured is falling out of the case horizontally when stood up. In addition, advice on mounting the case fans within the 80mm holes is appreciated.
Any and all advice/feedback is appreciated. Keep in mind, this is preferably a use-what-I-can-find build, but I am willing to make some inexpensive trips to the hardware store.
