  1. My budget would be 2500 preferrably, but if It's something I could upgrate the ram, gpu and cpu on, then I'd do 3000
  2. I'll be honest I've always loved MSI laptops, the only problem I've ever had was the battery life of MSI laptops and their weight
  3. Location like country? Canada. Budget? $2500 CAD but if it's a laptop that I can upgrade in the future then I'm not too worried about pushing it to $3000 if necessary. As for battery life, I'm looking for something that'll last over 8 hours when I'm using it, my Apache Pro from 3 years ago had more like a 4-5 hour battery life, but if I even tried rendering my video that would do down fast lol. Max weight, I just don't want something bulky, this is my last laptop, this would be an example of too heavy for me lol (https://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI-GE62-GTX-970M-Notebook-Review.142465.0.html)
  4. Just realized what I was asking, a stupid question lol. Yeah I suppose that would be the case, as long as it can handle the program
  5. Am I able to edit videos on an ultrabook? Nah I'd be selling the MSI laptop I have to help with the cost of a newer laptop, I have a fully functioning editing and recording/streaming setup at home, the laptop I currently have is just the one I used before I got the setup
  6. I've been editing in the safety of my own home for about 3 years now with no issue, but it's come to the time that my University will be ramping up to it's most difficult year, so I realize I finally have to do the one thing I've feared for years.... Buy a new laptop.. I have an MSI Apache Pro from quite a few years ago now (it's got a 970 in it and an i7 6700k) but the battery life.... oh lord.... Not to mention the weight on it. So my question is, what's the best video editing laptops in terms of productivity, as well as weight, battery life, and price? (Man I swear I know more than it sounds about computers). p.s I edit video, photo, and audio all with Adobe
  7. do you know of any that are black and green?
  8. So, I have been working on building my high-end gaming pc for months now, and now that I'm down to only needing a few more parts, I realize I have to get either a sound card, or an audio interface? another question is, wired headset or wireless? I always go with wired but only because I've always assumed they dont work well to be honest. Also I use my setup for recording for youtube, and streaming, so idk if that would change the answer to my question. I use a yeti mic pro at the moment as well. Enough rambling though, any ideas?
