It was from a pc builder site and i have found their bios install folder for my laptop model, but im not quite sure how to use the files they provide except that im supposed to put em on an usb in some special way and then boot pc from that usb or something.

Hello after i upgraded my oldish laptop from windows 7 to 10. None of my two laptop fans cpu and gpu are detected by any like software like speedfan or cpuid hwmonitor. I read somewhere that one way to fix this is to update bios also if that is the only way to fix the issue how do i make sure i find the right bios version for my motherboard? cus i looked into what motherboard i have and it isn't even listed at an site that had bios drivers/update things from that producer. The model if i understood what the info list on my pc correctly from msinfo32 is that my motherboard is a p15xEMx made by Clevo, Please Help Thanks in advance. p.s. sorry if in wrong forum category.

Ok Thanks i just wanted to not fry anything while building especially since im Norwegian and pc components is pretty expensive.

Hi im thinking of doing an build your pc yourself thingy for my next pc, Soon tm. But i live in a house where none of the wall sockets are earthed. I have an ifixit kit with anti static wristband, but what good can that do when i live in a house with no earthed plugs in the wall. sorry if wrong forum section. So any advice / tips on how to do this is appreciated.

Hello i am Norwegian using an keyboard with Norwegian/Nordic layout (physically). and Norwegian bokmål layout in software on windows. I recently started playing fallout new vegas again. And i had some days ago played and then i saved and went to bed. At that time i had my correct keyboard layout also inside new vegas, so i got the correct symbols in the console command thingy. But when i loaded up that save today and was about to type in a cheat which required ""(shift + 2) i got @ (altgr + 2) instead because for some strange reason i suddenly had an us or uk layout inside the game. No other games have been affected and not my pc layout either. i have tried to reload older saves, i have tried to start the game over aka start from the beginning again. in the end after various attemps at changing some settings i saw suggested to be suggested on the few posts about the problem that actually had gotten replies. i Decided to try to reinstall the game on an different hdd that didn't work either. Can someone please help me fix this issue.

ok well i don't really need one so thats why i tried the free ones or the free trials withouth having to put in any credit card info because i just wanted to check an single news item.

Hi i tried to find an free vpn to just check something quickly on bbc iplayer an news clip i wanted to see from last week but bbc iplayer saw through them all.

i did an bit of sata switcharoo and based on what i found it seems that the skyrim crash somehow messed up the one sata port on my motherboard for that hdd. Edit: seems the crash somehow rendered both the sata cable and the port that i at that time used for the spesific hdd unusable.

i looked around in bios mode and the hdd in question doesn't even appear there anymore. but it still appears in explorer at startup of pc. Also i had similar issue after an skyrim crash when i first installed skyrim special edition to my ssd where the os is installed. it was these issues that led me to install skyrim on one of the two extra hhd's in my pc. but for some reason an skyrim crash had an even bigger effect on the hdd i installed it on than on my ssd. Also @lopj245 the equivalent of puis was disabled in bios as far as i could figure it out.

Ok ill try to check that tomorrow. but since i had skyrim crash earlier the hdd it is installed on keeps vanishing, when i try to interact with in anyway even when i tried to defrag it to remove programs on it skyrim and another game. same happend when i tried to validate skyrim install on it. It reapear when pc restarts but then if i try to do any deeper interaction it vanishes from explorer.

Skyrim crashed now one of my hdd is vanished. i restarted my pc and the hdd reappeared but once i tried to launch skyrim the hdd completly vanished again. Anyone know what can have happend and how i can fix it?

Hi i find myself in need of an usb 3.0 hub the only such i have found locally had such an short usb cable on it that was perma attached that the hub would have to hang from the usb port on the back of my pc. Also it cost 400 Norwegian kroner. Im an Norwegian living in Norway btw.

The issue has randomly fixed it self due to an update to the apps maybe not sure.

I am currently running the laptop using an linux of an usb, but when i try to delete the avast files of the actual hdd it complains that i only have read permission and i am unable to give myself write permission.

Hi the built in heatsink on my TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING broke off when i tried to screw it loose to install my new nvme m.2 ssd should i worry about the heat where it is now withouth it or should it be fine? for detail one of the two screws on the heatsink refused to be moved by my screwdriver except in the tightening direction. while the other screw came loose as normal. No i just wanted more storage and what i have now is two hdd's and an 120gb ssd stripped to the wall of the cabinet so to discover i have slots for extra storage on my motherboard that is fastish has made me really happy. I have decided ill got for an Kingston A2000 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD

Hi i was wondering what ssd that is 1TB and or more that would work nicely with my TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING motherboard?
