@Albatross Is it possible that my SSD is dieing? Before I tried trying to reinstall windows I was getting bsod messages that are sometimes assosiated with a dieing drive, and the Input/Output error also seems to be related to a dieing ssd. edit: Well my dad let me take his SSD, fairly sure that my old one dieded. Thanks for trying to help me fix it though

@Albatross Turns out I must have chosen to boot off the wrong thing, worked now sorta, but while installing I got the error - Input/Output error during read on /dev/sda and it pressing any of the actions like cancel, retry, etc do nothing

@Albatross I don't think my pc supports usb booting or its cause of a generic usb, I do have my laptop on hand. Can I do anything else?

@Albatross Something even more weird is going on now, my SSD won't show up for diskparts "list volume" but does in my BIOS?

Since I partitioned my drive with windows on it I can't do that anymore right? Also the error code happens when I try to install windows to said partition

Did that already and it gets the error listed above but now it won't show up for partitions I can install even though my SSD shows up in my bios

I've deleted then made a new partition but then get the error code 0x80070005EDIT: And now the partition shows up for a split second then dissaperes

I don't have another OS on a different drive, any other ways?

How can I "clean" my ssd that has windows on it?
