edit: forgot to mention you could always try to wait it out for the Ryzen 5 series I hear they will be geared more towards gaming at a decent price. tried my hand at an amd build bet i'll catch flak for it. So i've ordered an 1800x and an ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero AM4 and just ignored the release dates because "ryzen is unleashed 3/2/2017" but i'm really confused as to why the motherboard says 3/9/2017 http://prntscr.com/ee8a65 can anyone confirm they're to be released a week after the cpu?

Hey so i was wondering if anyone knew of a full tower that has RGB (wanting purple but also want a choice) i like the look of the Corsair Crystal 460X RGB ATX Mid Tower but i feel it might be a little too small as i want to see about getting a new AIO to put in at the top. I'll keep my R9 390 gpu but hope to upgrade after I see what the new Vega(i think its vega?) gpus can do later in the year. It doesn't need an optical drive slot but it would be a plus. I have seen the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass Mid Tower, i'm hoping for a full tower. Any help is appreciated as i've been looking for the past two hours and feel like i'm missing something.

RYZEN. Can it combine with GTX GPUs?
SoulChaosX replied to Sencatsu's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
he has about 5 fans in his case and he's running Powercolor Red Devil editions. He might not be cleaning it like he should or maybe he's blocking it without realizing it but that's what i hear from him. he barely has his heater on because when his computer is on and he's playing its always warm in the living room (his computer area). This is MY EXPERIENCE from the card so I'm giving a personal experience for it. Not giving False information just personal experience. He has i think a NZXT 530 Source Case. I used to have the case but gave it to him when I upgraded. I didnt have issues running my AMD 270x in there, but he keeps his living room warm while playing games. -

Considering its a crossfire... Yes it pulls more... They both have around 150 tdp but with crossfire in the 480 it pulls more -

Yep a single one. Try that with crossfire my brother's case keeps his living room warm in these Montana winters -

To my knowledge there hasn't been an issue with GPU and CPU crosses... Valid question if you're new. Also unless you want a heater go with the GTX the RX 480's have a higher power use and so generates more heat
