Im always looking for new desk because to me a desk is as important as the hardware in you computer. I came across this and fell in love but cant find one or anything like it anywhere. Anyone know where I can get this or one similar to it. I love it for it being corner/L shaped and having the shelf that runs accross the top and is actually big enough to put descent monitors under

I want to do this not only for possible performance although everyone says its fine which it probably is but also just because i think it would look cool in my open case design i accidentally touched the heatsink to the ram while the pc was on and the pc went haywire and needed to be reset was this just a coincidence?

So i just built a pc and i noticed everything seems to run fine but the ram gets crazy hot. I do not have a lazer thermometer but if i kept my skin on it for more then a fraction of a second i would surely get burned. This is server memory so it does have those metal heatsinks already on it but is it possible for me to somehow use an old gpu heatpipe/heatsink cooler and fan on top of the ram without shorting it out or should a regular set of 100mm fans or whatever work just as well. I kinda want to try the gpu cooler because i think it would go great with the look of the build

I need help figuring out what i need to install on my pc to get windows 7 to recognize both my intel x5450 cpus. The motherboard is intel s5000psl, ram 16gb ddr2 speed 332mhz, processors dual x5450s at 3.0ghz ones not working lol why i am here. It recognizes both in bios so thats why i am pretty sure its a software issue.

sorry about the category mix up I didnt realize and going to attempty to use for gaming but if its not suitable then just use it as a gameing server pc but woulkd still like it to run a familiar form of windows

I just got my setup working but now it needs a suitable OS to run on. this is the hardware: Itel s5000psl motherboard Daul Intel x5450 3.0ghz 8 core total 16gb of ddr2 667mhz ram I am thinking regular old windows 7 home premium but idk if it will work or if something newer would work please help asap

I am going to try and replace the cmos battery adn then reseting the cmos to see if that starts this sucker up otherwise does that mean the motherboard is bad?

aslo the mouse and keboard are not powered on connected to the 2 front usb ports

so next problem the pc is now on the cpu fans are screaming and ev erything seems to be on but the connected monitor i know works is not displaying anything
