My Friend wants to build a Gaming PC that can play games and edit video's for his YouTube Channel. I'm posting this because he asked me to help him with it and he doesn't have a computer nor does he now about this site. His Budget is $1000, which is 2x the budget I have for my own PC. I was thinking 16gb+ RAM, 4gb or Higher Graphics Card, No Liquid Cooling, With a Operating System, Because of this High Budget No less than 16gb of Ram since I now what kind of system you can get for even $570.

Thanks LabRat and Shiv the Power Supply is from the trusted company EVGA and the Ram makes sense to me, I need/want more than 8gb of Ram but I cant afford 16gb so 12 should work and as far as compatibility goes PCPartPicker says it would work just fine and yes I do know that automated sites like this are not always correct. I went for the Pentium because of my budget and it costs $40 less. I also went with the 1050 Ti becuase again of My Budget if my budget was $700-$1000 then yeah I would choose a different Gpu.

Here in The UP their are not many recycle/Scrap Yards near me and I considered office depot but the nearest is 50 miles away

I would go to a Scrapyard or Recycling Center but I live in The Upper Peninsula in Michigan and as far as I know their is no place like that. I really wish their was though.

I'm have been wanting to build a PC for a long while now, and this is going to be my First PC. I do know a fair amount about computers and how they work. The PC I am hoping for will be able to play games at medium-high settings, and 40-60+ fps. I am hoping to get 16gb of ram and 4gb of Vram like a 1050 Ti. Any Cheap Quad Core like a Pentium G4560, i3, or i5 if possible. I do not want liquid cooling. Any ATX case will do. I also absolutely need an OS since I'm not for getting one illegally. I would be Okay with Steam OS depending on how you get it and install it. Their isn't any Thrift Stores, Recycling Centers, or Anything Like That Where I Live.
