  1. How that i have done that, is it safe to assume that I can play games normally just not mess with any voltages or automatic overclocking and deal with some frame drops? Sorry for the stupid question.
  2. More Blue screens...yay. WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, which happened on the other Motherboard. Thought this likely happened because I let ASUS's Dual Intelligent processors 4 to auto overclock my system to 4GHz a few hours ago. PC is running worse now, taskbar keeps freezing and reseting. At this point, I have a feeling its what asand1 pointed out and its a PSU problem, which if that's true I cannot fix due to lack of money to buy a few one. If anyone has any more suggestions, I am all ears but in any case thanks for all the help guys.
  3. Just finished doing a clean install. After I get the game downloaded again I'll see if its any different. After the clean install, seems to be slightly better now, so far anyway.
  4. Yes, and I had to carry over the RAM as well. The GPU should be quite a bit more powerful from all I could tell by research.
  5. I have the ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura board right now and I will try a clean re-install later on.
  6. Only been having this problem since early january (kind of since I reinstalled the old mobo+CPU for a couple weeks). The old Phenom II works just fine.
  7. Yeah... I regret being so hasty, I should have waited for a bit and got something better. I was just desperate because I kept getting blue screens on my old system (almost 6 years old)
  8. The temps were: idle I was getting around 18C and while playing I was getting up to 30C on the CPU and 55C idle and 62C while playing for the GPU. GPU usage was apparently going to 100%, but then again game settings have no affect on performance at all, before and after the motherboard swap.
  9. So first of all, its my first time here so I apologize if this is the wrong place to put this. So I upgraded from a Phenom II 965 which I OC'd to 4GHz and had it there for years. I decided to upgrade finally to something a bit better then upgrade more in a year or so and got an FX-6300 paired up with an RX 470. At first I had some motherboard issues and a crappy board. It was blue screening all the time and my CPU usage (while playing Warframe in peticular) would never go above about 55~60% and I was getting some pretty awful frames considering I should be getting a pretty constant 60. I have heard other people playing on worse machines that get a constant 60. I have tried and tried to fix this problem but I can't seem to find what's wrong. I even spent a month going back and forth with the game's support until they gave up on me. The new motherboard helped my frames, but its still underwhelming. I think something is still wrong somewhere, but I can't figure it out. Has anyone had any similar experiences or have any advice? Also I am aware that the FX-6300 isn't a great CPU but its better than a Phenom II and I don't exactly have much money to work with unfortunately. Thanks in advance.
