  1. Update :- Found a friend who owns a Computer Shop and is giving me the same charger for almost half the price I saw on Amazon. Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions. Cheers Guys Okay so there was some problem with the electricity and I plugged in and saw smoke coming out of the charger. Upon investigating, I see that the cylindrical something is burst but still I plugged it in and I see the Laptop charging as far as I can tell, just fine. Should I continue charging because I can't get a new charger due to the whole pandemic going on. There is no obvious sign that something's wrong. Should I? It's happened once before, smoke, cylinder burst, but still charging. It burned the PSU I guess which I had to pay for after a new charger. But at that time I was playing games plugged in after the smoke thing. If I take this slow and steady, light task, should I? Cylinder inside the adapter, not on the end.
  2. My System Info Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 Operating System: Windows* 10 Pro (10.0.18362) Physical Memory: 8123 MB Current Resolution: 1366 x 768 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-5010U CPU @ 2.10GHz Processor Speed: 2095 MHz Processor Graphics in Use: Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 Shader Version: 5.0 OpenGL* Version: 4.4 OpenCL* Version: 2.0 * Microsoft DirectX* * Runtime Version: 12.0 Hardware-Supported Version: 11.1 * Built-in Display * Display Type: Digital DDC2 Protocol: Supported Gamma: 2.2 Connector Type: Embedded DisplayPort Device Type: Built-in Display Maximum Image Size Horizontal Size: 13.39 inches Vertical Size: 7.48 inches Supported Modes 1366 x 768 (60p Hz) The Question.... Can I Extend or increase my Display's Resolution beyond 1366x768? Will it break something? Story Time I know that 1366x768 has 1049088 pixels and 1920x1080 has 2073600 pixels so it sounds totally impossible but here's where it gets interesting. VMware Workstation Pro 15, if you install Windows 10 (I tried it with Mac OS Mojave, Yosemite and Snow Leopard and it didn't work, although it works great in other Linux or Windows based OS) it let's you choose custom resolution in the Display Settings -> Display Resolution. It let's you choose from 800x600 to (are you ready?) 5k and guess what? if you select even 5k it works. Granted it don't have the pixels required for 5k Output and man it was an ordeal to switch back from the tiny display. But 1920x1080 it's something else. The display is not crisp and sharp but it's usable to say the least . If you take a screenshot or record the screen inside the VM, it comes in the Crispy Clear 1080p. It works like a charm (More or less) So, if I have to make a tutorial or something, I just switch to the Windows 10 VM and it just works. Going beyond 1080p is not at all worth it. Although I have tried both 4k and 5k and used a screen recorder inside the VM and took some screenshots, it just works as intended. (just waiting for them to add 16k support and then I will dethrone Linus *Evil Laugh*) Now I did some digging and found out that many people have managed to increase their screen resolution beyond native. I understand it will be relatively blurry but 1080p is usable and if I can somehow get it for my Main Host OS Windows 10, it will be amazing. I will still try everything out there but just wanted to ask you guys if I might somehow destroy my PC (It is the only thing I have, no secondary) Let me know if I can do it to the Host. Thanks a lot guys in advance and for reading the post. Cheers
  3. Can you please give the links to the Windows 10 version. Or will these work on it too. Thanks
  4. I wanted to play Minecraft so let's just say I "Acquired" it from "some" sources. After some sessions I realized there won't be any updates and this is really old version. So, I went ahead and bought Minecraft PE from the Play Store. I played it but I quite didn't like it so I thought it will be better to get the PC version and so I did. I went to the Microsoft Store (Please) and got myself a copy of MINECRAFT FOR WINDOWS 10. Boom great thing, I liked it. Updates and all the other goodies. But....... Then, I wanted to play Multiplayer on popular servers. I went ahead and ERROR. I thought it was my network but apparently it wasn't. All those were JAVA Servers and then it hit me, I should've gone for the head or maybe JAVA Version. Later watching Linus say "Our server will be for the JAVA Players", it got me. Now I can't just get myself the JAVA copy too (It cost some serious bucks man) but of course I want to blow some heat on Linus' Server. What can I do now? Alternatively, can you suggest some always online Bedrock servers, if there are any. I tried searching but I don't have nay idea no more. Need server list for Windows 10. Not a fan of PE. 5. Let's get this out of the way first :- AWS Free Plan - 1 GB RAM - Windows 10 I know it's not that much but my requirements are also not that much. Basically, I don't have to host a server where all my friends are playing (I don't have friends). I just want my world to be online which I can access from all my devices. Essentially, it's just me. Single and maybe, just maybe Two people. So, the theory is that I upload my world and whenever I have to play just connect to it. Voila Will 1 GB enough for me? Or should I lookout for something else? Is there any other similar service which will help me? Are we living in a simulation? Let me know how I can setup it. Cheers
  6. This seems the Problem is Device Specific. I'm sure it's not because of HDR because even the downloaded images are having the same problem.
  7. Google Photos is creating duplicates with Super low quality 0.1 MP and better yet sandwiching my original image between 7-8 layers of those 0.1 MP images. It's a real hassle to find the image I'm looking for. Imagine looking for an Image, you found it and when you click on it, boom it's the 0.1MP one now repeat this for over 7-8 times and ultimately you will find the original image in High-Quality.
  8. I have installed the SDK and everything required. Android Studio - Latest as of May 23rd Windows uses Microsoft Account to activate the copy of windows using the digital license associated with it. While creating the account it asks for First Name and the Last Name which are both required. Then, it creates a user folder with the same name which often leaves a Space between the Folder name. I switched to a Local Account with only First Name, there is still the old spaced out folder which is being used for everything. Please help me fix this issue. Thanks in advance.
  9. Well, the First device is MacBook Air 13" 2017 and There is another Windows Laptop. I was thinking to somehow project the MacBook onto the Windows Laptop without the use of anything like Team-Viewer because they will ruin the experience. Both of them are on the same network. Is this possible? What's the easiest way to do it?
  10. I have to use my laptop in short bursts. So, I on it and then do the work then shut it down and power on again when I need it. I do this on an average of 8-10 times a day. When I am certain I have to use it multiple times I just let it run. While shutting down I make sure it shuts down properly and it have an SSD so no Harddisk moving part shenanigans. So, what should I do? Is it okay or should I change my workflow?
  11. I just tried to create a new Document but it says - Photoshop Scratch disks are full. I checked my Scratch Disk it has over 40 Gigs free. I have Only one SSD boot Drive of 220 Gigs and currently it have over 60 Gigs free. I even changed my Scratch Disks to my External HDD which have over 200 Gigs free but still the same problem. I tried installing and Uninstalling both CC 2018 and CC 2019 but same problem. Help guys this is critical.
  12. Charge it to 100%. remove the charger and do light tasks and drain it almost to 0% Don't plug-in Try to on it as many times as it possibly can. Generally it can go on for over 4-5 times and will stay at 0% Do this until it's dead as hell. Now while shut down, charge to 100% It should help you but don't do this process regularly. It's also called battery calibration. If you want Google it first.
  13. So it's Android One. Pie - Latest and Greatest It's killing the apps in background. For example I can't use any app locker because the app will be completely terminated and all my apps are exposed. Now I have to go and manually start the app which sucks. I was using a App called OnePlus Navigation Gesture which I like too much but it terminated the app and I was left with no navigation bar because I hid the default one. So, I have to restart the phone, go to the home screen, to the menu and then enable the app again. I used the popular "Don't Optimize" method from the battery section but guess what after a while my navigation bar poof gone. Can anyone help me out with this. Thanks in advance. I so want to use the OnePlus Navigation Gesture.
  14. Are you sure your cables are fine? Is it brand new or old?
  15. Well when I said Minimum Requirements, I meant minimum price too. ?
  16. Okay so I am not expecting AAA titles buster which supports 4K. I will play only esports titles and sometimes Fortnite/Apex (Not the Utmost necessary genre). Also I want to stream it at 720p with the actual game also at 720p I guess. As long as it's "fairly" decent and not really sloppy or choppy I am good. What are the minimum resources I need? CPU GPU RAM Etc. And it should be a Laptop. Because I have to travel a lot.
  17. I already have a SSD in my old laptop which I will switch. Talk about the processor more please.
  18. ASUS F570 ( AMD Quad Core R5-2500 /8 GB/1TB / 15.6" FHD/ Windows 10/ 4GB GTX 1050) Gaming Laptop F570ZD- DM226T
  19. Amazon Link Indian Found this deal on Amazon. Can I use the GTX 1050 4GB for playing and streaming CSGO? Usually at this price point I find laptops with MX 150 and others. So, I guess this is a good deal. Am I wrong? Correct me! ASUS F570 ( AMD Quad Core R5-2500 /8 GB/1TB / 15.6" FHD/ Windows 10/ 4GB GTX 1050) Gaming Laptop F570ZD- DM226T
  20. It says max 39 c, should I be worried if I just browse the internet on CHROME.
  21. I have a Laptop with Single-Fan. I (yeah me) broke the fan and then removed it from the device. I can't change it atleast for a few days. I was wondering if I can use it without the fan if I don't push it with normal browsing and stuff. I downloaded "Open Hardware Monitor" and it shows the Temp is 32-36 C on both the cores. Should I continue or keep it until the repair.
