Hello all, I am using windows 7 Home Pro, and I was wondering if there is any cool advantages to upgrading to Windows 8.

lol ok well I'm not spoiled--I was just thinking it's over a year old and that the new stuff like the Z78 mobos are much faster. My budget is $200.00, but I thought the 700 series would not work as well on my comp. I watched Linus's bottelnecking video and though my comp would slow down a 700 series video card. So thanks guys for the advice. This was a case of the grass is always greener over there-kind of thing. Seems like my PC is ok for a while longer, but will i need to upgrade to play the new games coming out? Thanks for the replies guys. This site is really great!!!

I have a very old computer with 8 gigs of DDR3 Dual channel Ram--- Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 ghz Sandy bridge 1155 LGA --- and an Invidia Geforce GTX 550 ti graphics card. My Questions is: If I upgrade to a 650ti Geforce will I get a performance boost? I play Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, stuff like Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Civilization 5 <----(bullys my card-lol)
