  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LITE-ON-IT-Technology-Corp-M-2-2242-32GB-SSD-07FM7R-CS1-SP32-11-/322198699219?hash=item4b0489fcd3:g:iwcAAOSw9eVXXqlE what about this
  2. crap my bad. Any cheap recommendations?
  3. Keep in mind this drive would be used only to store windows on, nothing else.
  4. I'm really just looking for a cheap m.2 ssd that I can use as a windows 10 boot drive, so recommendations are very welcome.
  5. So I was thinking of buying http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kingston-RBU-SNS4151S3-16GD-16GB-M-2-Solid-State-SSD-for-Chromebook-/142252387082?hash=item211ee72b0a:g:UIkAAOSwt5hYgmVq but wasn't sure how fast it would be booting up windows 10 64 bit. I'm using a z170 motherboard. Right now I'm using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FQH7MQ2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 would the 16gb ssd be noticeably faster?
  6. I think that's what I'll do. Thanks for helping me come to a conclusion.
  7. Okay, I might try that if I'm brave enough. Thank you.
  8. Nothing besides staring at it and having memories come flooding back. Now that I think about it, I probably shouldn't be this attached to a GPU lol.
  9. That makes sense. So maybe I could drill my own holes through the back plate?
  10. About $80x2 as I have 2 of them
  11. I'm just wondering if I'll regret doing so.
  12. It may be, but I thought that would be kinda odd, as the connection for that LED is on the back of the card.
  13. So the first GPU I ever bought was a sapphire r9 290, and I have since upgraded to a 1070. This card has a tremendous amount of sentimental value to me, however I still need money for my new build. Would it be a mistake if I sold this card? I'm sorry for posting this in the GPU thread, but I wasn't quite sure where to put it.
  14. So I'm going to water cool my 1070 strix with this https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc1080-gtx-strix-nickel however Ek says it isn't compatible with the backplate that comes with the strix. I want to keep the backplate as it has the LED logo, so I was wondering If anyone knew why the backplate doesn't fit. If it is just because the screw holes I can use thermal pads to stick it on, but if it's something else I would like to find a new block.
  15. I guess I'll get the fans then. Thanks for the input!
