  1. I contacted their customer support and they're going to send me a new one. While I think the stock cable is very good I wanted to paracord it more for aesthetic purposes to match my setup a little more. So hopefully the new one they send me works. Now the only thing is is ever since I disassembled/reassembled it I feel like the clicks feels a tad different... Could just be me but I feel the mouse buttons a little shakier and the clicks feel a little mushier than how I thought they used to feel I guess I can say... Could just be my imagination and this is how it always felt though
  2. Just tried paracording my Model O with a paracord I got from Paracablemods and after I was done I plugged the mouse in my pc detected it, the rgb lights lit up but there was no response from the mouse. The clicks and sensor did not work so I made sure it was plugged in all the way and still nothing. I replugged in the original cable and it worked just fine. Could I have gotten a faulty cable or something? I've paracorded other mice in the past so I know how to be careful and this was no different.
  3. I am trying to fix someones Laptop, a Toshiba Satellite L655 that is not turning on. The person who gave this to me said that they almost never turn the laptop off for months at a time and it is pretty much always plugged in/charging and they finally went to shut it off and the next time they tried turning it on it did not start up. When the charging cable is plugged in a white light on the front of the laptop turns on showing it is still receiving power however still does not start up. I cleaned it out with compressed air, tried taking out the battery/unplugging it from the charger and holding the power button for 30 seconds and tried turning it on again and no luck, I've tried this multiple times. I also tried reseating the RAM and tried putting in different RAM sticks and still nothing. No fans spinning or anything. Could it be a possible dead CPU? I'm not sure what else I could try next.

  5. Honestly you're probably right... after thinking about it I just remembered I have a white mousepad at work and it's filthy. Ok how about a black mousepad with a white border that's around 36x16
  6. I'm looking for an extended mousepad that has a white surface with a black border around it, similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014OOWL7W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 However I'm looking for one that's the same size as my current mousepad which was 35.5" x 15.5" exactly and that was a perfect fit - which is this mousepad: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016LEYODW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I bought 2 of the white/black mousepads I linked above, 1 was 36x12 which is too small for me and the other was 36x18 which was just a little too big for my desk, plus I'm not really happy with the color the white has a purple'ish tint to it and just looks weird to me. Any suggestions?
  7. So I have a Dell XPS M1530 that isn't showing any display. All the power LED's and everything on the laptop turn on like normal but no screen. No backlight turns on and I'm not getting any display on an external monitor. Would this mean that it is probably a faulty GPU?
  8. I should've added this in my post but I'm using Windows 10 and I don't see a download for Security essentials for W10, will Windows Defender be good enough?
  9. I use AVG as my antivirus program and I'm just sick to death of getting all these "your trial has expired buy premium now" etc. etc. messages and I'm considering just buying it just so it can stop I can actually use the program how I want... I don't know of any other free antivirus' that I like that don't have this annoyance either if there is some recommendations would be nice. Or if I'm considering paying for AVG is there any other antivirus programs I would be better off paying for?
  10. Ok I think I see what you mean, so let's say if I wanted to record in mono. I connect my mic into the XLR input on the VT-3 like normal, then I would take a 1/4" to XLR cable and plug it into where it says mono on the VT-3: https://gyazo.com/e20d4908a5521decb055e185b40b97ff And then connect the XLR end of that to the mic input 1 on my interface? And if I wanted stereo I would do the same except I would use both of the 1/4" jacks on the VT-3 and both of the XLR ends would go into inputs 1 and 2 on the interface? That's the only part I'm kind of confused about
  11. Actually I just noticed I think I made this way more complicated than it needed to be. I could just use a Female XLR to Dual Male XLR cable and it should work right? Female end goes into my mic, 1 of the male ends goes to the VT-3 and the other male goes into the mixer/interface?
  12. Oh I see so I would plug in 2 1/4' jacks that are normally used for monitors into the L/R inputs on the VT-3 and plug the other ends of those into (in this case if I get the Yamaha MG10XU) line 5? If this is right then I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the on board compressor/gain knobs Sorry if I'm completely wrong and confused things but I've always had a pretty basic setup so some of this is kind of new to me
