I think it's cool others are getting in on the SFF computer game, especially someone with the kind of financing to push it like Qualcomm (anticompetitive crap aside).

    Yes: http://wccftech.com/intel-abandoning-silicon-7nm/ Most likely a member of the III-V family like Gallium Arsenide or Molybdenum Disulphide, but Silicon-Germanium mix is also on the table just like what IBM/GloFo is pursuing.
