  1. Hi all, would love some advice I finally finished my build last night, but have been unable to boot so far. Spec as follows Asus Maximus VIII Hero (Bios 3101) Intel i5 7600k 16GB Vengeance LED 2666 (2x 8GB) MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB Kingston 120GB SSD Seagate 2TB HDD NZXT Kraken x61 AIO cooler Corsair 750M PSU NZXT S340 Elite Case Bios has been updated to support the Kaby Lake CPU (I had a different error before this) On initial boot I get no display, and then boot hangs on Q Code A2 with Boot Device LED is solid orange. I have tried different SATA cables, different SATA ports and removing the 1070 and using onboard graphics from the motherboard. Still no output. Tried with just one RAM module. The SSD, HDD and graphics card are all from my old build so I know they work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  2. Unfortunately I'm simply trying to boot without even a M+K attached. I read somewhere that at an A2 error the system has already posted but it could be an issue with drive formatting. The dives are both out of my old build and as far as I'm aware are not UEFI. I'm just not sure how to confirm that.
