  1. It seems really good but I'd probably want a bigger monitor then that + I have money to blow so why not planning to cash out some of my CSGO stuff after 3 years
  2. I've had around 500 usd saved up wanting to get a 144hz monitor. I've already got 2 60hz (2560x1080 and 2560x1440) both at 60/59hz. I really want a 144hz monitor and have the money now, but have been waiting the other month+ to hopefully find a deal. Also i'm open to suggestions to monitors. Is 4k 144hz even really a thing? I only have a 970 strix but have plans of upgrading in the near future to something like a 1080/1070. I'm really out in the open right now. I'd also like it to be able to switch back and forth from PC and xbone pretty easily.
  3. It turned budget was a little iffy, IF you have any suggestions that will significantly boost performance i'm sure he'd be all in edit::: He also is going to need to buy windows, probably off reddit for 40$ or so, but that plays into the budget
  4. It's not built yet --- This is the PC he was going to build: https://www.amazon.com/iBUYPOWER-AM8260EX-Desktop-Gaming-7200RPM/dp/B0746NCNSF This is what we came up with: PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wT3sD8 Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wT3sD8/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($109.86 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock - AB350M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($67.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Toshiba - P300 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($41.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card ($154.99 @ Amazon) Case: Azza - SIRIUS ATX Mid Tower Case ($28.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($23.98 @ Newegg) Total: $487.78 (he's going to pick a case so don't worry about compatibility error) Anyways, he wants to be able to run PUBG on it (not at high settings, but run it) Is the PC we came up with better? Also, are there any minor upgrades or different parts you'd reccomend? Budget is kinda tight though...
  5. Currently my microphone for the past 6 months has just sat on my desk. It is incredibly loud for my friends when we talk or play video games, I have a clicky razer blackwidow. If I REALLY wanted to I could probably buy the Rode PSA1 and Blue Radius II. Problem is, I wanted some nice bluetooth cycling earbuds and might not be able to spend so much money on these microphone parts and get the earbuds as well. I'd like a nice arm that I can move pretty easily so I can keep it close to my face (my desk is fairly big, L shaped in the corner of a room) as well as a shockmount to make my keyboard quieter. Only specifications are that I want them both to be a dark color, everything on my desk is black or dark blue (except a lava lamp that was a gift) so I want it to look good and function good and make my keyboard extremely quiet for those who i'm speaking with online TL;DR want a cheaper solution that is still a good mic arm and preferably still have a shock mount
  6. Something similar to what my brother has I believe, I probably will invest a bit more money in the arm but that seems pretty good for what it is
  7. So i have a blackwidow chroma ultimate from a few years ago, and last christmas I got a Blue Yeti microphone which I love, the only problem is my desk is made of pretty cheap wood, and my microphone picks up every single vibration and keyboard click extremely loudly. I've tried changing gain and stuff, doesn't help, and I've ticked off my friends for the past 6 months with my keyboard sounds. Anyways, my birthday is coming up tomorrow and I'm planning on getting a new Mic arm with a shock mount and maybe pop filter, I'm not a streamer or anything, I just like having a nice microphone because i thought it'd be cool, and now it's extremely noisy. I can clamp something to my desk, and the budget I will set at a max 200$, preferably cheaper but I might even go higher, I have no Idea what these things go for. Also im not looking for a cheap flimsy stand, I want a decently build one thats easy to move around and adjust/position that works well with the Blue Yeti Microphone. Thanks! tl;dr: keyboard too loud, need mic stand w/ shock mount and pop filter, budget max 200$ but prefer to go lower, needs to be sturdy and durable and work with the Blue Yeti microphone. Thanks!
  8. i know he originally said 650 but he is now saying he'd like it around 605 (not my fault dont hate me).. sorry about that...-- what should he downgrade?
  9. his budget is 650, what if he got 12 gb of ram and the 1050 ti instead, with a higher tier processor would that still work?
