  1. battlefield one supports sli and with the ti's they do not or didn't support it
  2. When i look it up some have almost no gain in performance and some dubble they're performance was there a driver update that made sli beter? or do they need really high end cpu's to process the two 1080ti's or should a i7 7700k be sufficient?
  3. so you are telling me that two 1080ti are beter for gaming then one? edit: did the research and yes they do i've been misinformed about the ti's a few weeks ago my apology
  4. gtx 1080ti doesn't improve game performance in sli so no i would not build it or rebuild it that way. but when i improve the gpu i rather have a to high psu wattage then a to low or "just enough". I got 3 psu in the last 4 years because of 2 rebuilds so the last one i bought was a hx1000i so im done with buying psu's and the fans do not spin at all.
  5. We where talking about "future gpu's" do you know the power consumption of the new vega's from amd or mybe some upcoming nvidias? do you like to buy a new psu's every 2 years? i can agree you're against RGB for the right reasons. He has a 4k acer monitor idk which type i don't know.
  6. Hey it's you again and ok thx for info!
  7. Hey guys I've found me a secondhand cpu an i7-5820k for like 460bucks with a new raider msi motherboard. But I was looking into a r7 1700 build now my question is which one is beter for these uses? Gaming/Streaming Thx for your time. Greetings LotharSoul
  8. Don't wanne waste anyones time. Not trying to argue but in the end i'll except some suggestion and i'll decline some. Anyway sorry for wasting your time, have a nice day.
  9. Ofcourse i took it for the RGB just to spice it up. And because it isn't a bad PSU but the bigger ssd is nice mybe il take the psu. Thx for the info but probably staying with the 1700 though.
  10. yes i know its true but if you compare the gtx 1080 with the TI it went up in power consumption. And i look at it this way Game loading time < Graphics
  11. This is the budget he got for building one so it's np. I call it high-end not OP.
  12. Yes true. I've changed the hdd to a Seagate Barracuda 2TB. SSD is for faster booting up, so it's only for window. And psu is just "future proof" for a more demanding video card or a cpu water cooler.
  13. Hi guys I'm planning to build a destop for my lil brother. Just checking out if you guys think this is a good gaming/streaming desktop? Keep in mind he's about to turn 15 so i don't want to go overpowered. Mybe you guys could suggest a beter build around the same pricetag. pcpartpicker link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mnPvkT Thx for your time and i'll keep you guys updated when i start building the system Greeting LotharSoul
  14. btw i changed all my fans to corsair static pressure fans was hitting 70°c on my i7-7700k with a water cooled lepa setup but with some tweaking im on 25-30°c idle and performing on +- 60°c here is the link have a look if you want
  15. nice gl with it. looking forward to the end result builded a hyper beast too
