  1. Hey all! Since this is clearly the place to go when I have foolish questions, I thought I'd stop by. I NEED HELP! I got a pack of three NZXT's AER RGB fans, and it didn't come with the fan controller (HUE+). I thought there was still a way to get partial RGB features out of the fans without them? If so, how do I install them? Right now I just have the fans plugged into case fan headers but there's obv more to the equation I reckon. It comes with other cords, which I'm wondering is to power the led strips themselves? Does anyone know how to install them without the HUE+ controller? If so, shoot me a reply, I'd greatly appreciate it. Hope everyone had a great holiday over the past few days! Thanks, -David
  2. I haven’t checked about plug in performance? I can check right now.
  3. I'm worried its still using integrated graphics. 1050 ti is a handy card, and Ive used a 1050 ti in a desktop before paired with less superior cpu's and CS has run perfectly, I'm starting to get annoyed. Cant understand why this is happening!
  4. Hey all, I DESPERATELY NEED HELP. Recently got a gaming laptop from Dell, has a: GTX 1050 TI 16 GB RAM 7th Gen Core i7 7600HQ I made sure Global 3d Settings has NVidia processor enabled, BUT I AM STILL GETTING 30-50 fps on Counter-Strike, low fps on DotA and horrible fps on overwatch. My drivers are up to date, but I have a weird feeling that maybe integrated graphics is still being used for games? WHAT DO I DO!??
  5. So when will I do it. Will I do it post CPU install? So Im assuming everything will still boot up though?
  6. Hey all! Quick question for you smart blokes out there: I'm upgrading my older Intel i5-4460 to a Ryzen 5 1600X. Obviously I've ordered the respective motherboard for AMD's chip and new DDR4 Ram to fit that mobo. BUT, will I have to do a new installation of windows 10? Since its going from Intels CPU and mobo drivers, will the new mobo and cpu automatically configure itself and work with my current windows installation? PLEASE HELP! Thanks, -David
  7. Hey all, so quick question to anyone decent enough to help me out. For my travel mini atx build I have a gtx 1050 ti, a healthly budget friendly little gpu with enough power to satisfy my relatively small power needs. Im huge into ArmA 3, and paired with my gpu I have an i5 4460 (not oveclockable)—keep in mind I chose these budget parts to just have in my travel build. I also understand how horribly optimized ArmA 3 online is, but anyone know if my decently low frame rates are because of my cpu? And if that is the bottlenecking, anyone recommend a new cpu to help fix my needs at a good price? Thanks!
