  2. Hey guys, I recently bought an MSI gtx 1070 X (base clock: 1582, boost clock: 1771) and so far I'm really satisfied with it, although I've experienced some minor issues. I'm a big fan of fallout so I do play it a lot. Because of this I discovered my clockspeed drops below boost or even base clockspeed (clockspeed 1240 and sometimes +-950) causing my fps to drop below 60 fps which is very noticeable (unlike gta5, you don't notice an fps drop at all). This only occurs in some parts of the map (Fallen skybridge, central part of the map, for those who play it) which I think is odd because my card can actually keep clocking at it's normal clockspeed at all times, right? (sometimes it clocks even higher than boost clock in games like Fallout and The Witcher 3 without me overclocking it in any way) I do experience this problem sometimes too in ASTRONEER but this is just a known issue with this alpha game where fps doesnt go past 20 fps when you have built a lot in your map. (clockspeed around 400) Does this have anything to do with my settings or just a bug in the game or something else? I haven't changed any core clock or memory clock setting in MSI afterburner so the card should be behaving on factory settings at that point. Thanks in advance (sorry for bad english)
  3. Hey guys,So I'm running out of storage at the moment.I'm using a Samsung 850 evo 250 gb ssd for my OS, some games and my most used programs. For files and other programs/games I'm using a WD Blue 1tb.As I said, they're almost completely full and I'm looking for the best additional storage as possible.I considering to buy a WD red 3tb.But the description says that its actually made for NAS systems and RAID.I would like to use the drive for mostly files but probably some programs too and some virtual machines. Most people say the Red series are in fact better (variable rates, performance oriented...) but it seems they aren't really made for this purpose I wanna use them for as they are made for massive file storage on servers and stuff. Should I just go for WD blue 3tb or Seagate hdd's or something else? Thanks in advance (sorry for bad English)
  4. Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my tower with a better graphics card. Here are my specs; - Intel i5 4690k - Msi gtx 960 4g - 2X corsair 8gb ddr3 1600 - corsair rm650x - msi z97 gaming 5 - wd blue 1 tb and samsung 850 evo 250 gb SSD - corsair carbide spec02 - coolermaster tx3 evo cpu cooler I could work with this for a while now but I noticed I can't run all my games at 60 fps which is annoying some times. (games like Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 and heavier games in the future) And I don't really like to overclock my gpu, which I actually tried but didn't gain much out of it except for a lot of heat. I saved up some money and I'm planning on upgrading my gpu to an MSI gtx 1070 8g. After some research I discovered I would end up with a bottleneck. (results in attach) It says i have a 15% bottleneck. What does this mean and will my pc suffer with this gpu? Will I put to much pressure on my cpu? Is this upgrade a good idea or should I go with something else? Thanks
