  1. I'm 50/50 on Raid 0 because I want to combine them together but at the same time I do not want to lose my data but if I transfer my important stuff on my HDD. I guess I should be fine? I should have brought a big capacity SSD instead of 2 smaller capacity.
  2. @kirashi @vascobrissos14 @Enderman My bad, I wasn't clear about my post. I actually have two 850 evos. Doing Raid 0 with my SSD and HDD was never on my mind lol. What I was thinking of doing is doing a raid 0 on my SSD and keep all my junk on my HDD. So, if my SSD fails I still have all of my stuff on my HDD.
  3. So you are suggesting that I keep my SSD separated instead of doing raid 0?
  4. Hi, If I do a raid 0 on my 850 evo and put all of my important stuff on my HDD. My data wont be gone if the raid fails right? I can't think of any storage configuration beside doing raid 0 on my ssd. Might as well combine them together Instead of having 2 separate drive. Thanks
  5. Yeah I saw that too but I dislike the curve on a 27". I would only go for curve on a UW.
  6. Hi, Can you guys help me find my ideal monitor? Here are the information that I can provide you guys. - Budget: 800$ Canadian - Games I play: League of Legends, Overwatch, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite. I also play horror games and Rise of the tomb raider. - Refresh rate: 144hz or more - Panel type preference: 1) IPS, 2) VA, 3) TN - Resolution and Size: 1080p - 24", 1440p - 27". Heard that 34-35" 1080p UW is a waste of money? so that why i'm not considering it. - Bezels: Slim, I hate fat bezels but If there is no choice then I will deal with it. - Company preference: 1) Asus, 2) LG. AOC/Viewsonic/Acer is not here since I don't like their monitor aesthetic or it doesn't fit my build color scheme and Dell has banding issues(I tried their monitors). - Adaptive sync: I guess Gsync since I have an nvidia GPU(GTX 1080). - Specs: I7-7700k, GTX 1080, 16Gb 3200mhz. Here are the monitor that I found based on PcPartPicker: - PG248Q (1080p,TN, 180hz, Gsync) - PG258Q (1080p, TN, 240hz, Gsync) - MG279Q(1440p, 144hz, IPS but has a horrible stand and I don't want to wall mount it). TN version of this is the same price as IPS. I am thinking of getting a PG258Q or MG279Q but I am open for other suggestions.
  7. Oh that. That shouldn't be an effect of the plastic wrap. I think its the small bezels that maybe causing it? The monitor I have is the S2417DG. Why do you ask? is that a problem?
  8. Whats on the bottom left? Only thing I see is a plastic wrap that I haven't taken out. Also here's a pic of the bottom right of the monitor where most bleed are. I'm guessing its fine cause it could have been worst.
  9. @Glenwing Ah ok. Thought you would ask for more pic without the windows logo cause when I disconnect my DP there's backlight bleed wheres the windows logo is but If its ok/good then I would def keep it since If i did return it chances are I might get one that is worst.
  10. Just wondering if this is a bad back light bleed for a TN panel. Most of it are on the bottom right close to the windows logo.

    Fake HDR?

Does the Dell U2718Q actually support HDR? It has a 10bit color dept but the brightness looks pretty low for a HDR monitor.
  12. @CUDA_Cores I disable hybernate so fast boot shoudnt be on but I swapped monitor and i can see the bios now. Odd fix LOL..
  13. I have a Ryzen 1300x with a B350 plus mobo and it wont post if i press DEL to go in the bios(black screen) but when I dont press it it doesnt show the post screen and jumps to windows login.
  14. Regarding Ram timings and stuff, does the number in the middle actually matters if they're both CL16? lets say A is 16-18-18-36 is there a difference to B 16-16-16-36? From what I understand, lower is better but you wont notice a difference unless you benchmark it right? is it even worth it to pay extra to get lower timings....
