  1. Alright, thanks for clearing things up. I was worried if the Molex wasn't exactly the one I required incorrect voltage would be sent back to the PSU basically frying the whole thing.
  2. Thanks both of you for the help. @dany_boy What if it happens to not be 12v but 5v instead? I assume it means that the LEDs will simply not work ?
  3. Greetings everyone, Now I know similar question has been asked multiples time before, but I am still not certain. I have a RM 650X PSU and am wanting to install some LED strips (12v) with a controller to change it accordingly. I am thinking of buying this LED strip with controller ( http://www.miniinthebox.com/5m-300x3528-smd-rgb-led-str... ) and connect it with this adapter (https://nl.aliexpress.com/store/product/Power-D-port-Ma...) to my PSU. It says this adapter handles 12v and it also tells me the controller requires 12 volts. Am I overlooking something or should this work just fine? I am uncertain because I've looked at others adapters (like the one from the Hue+) and saw the location etc.. of the wires coming from the molex are the same, but with other adapters they aren't. I am not sure if wires will match correctly and the last thing I want is a dead computer. Thanks in advance for the help
