Hey! I wanna make this pc as a workstation, know that most of these parts are too OP for a light editing/gaming build but wanna know if there’s any mods I can make to it. Keep in mind that i’m pretty new to PC building. Recommend a quiet (maybe RGB...) CPU cooler as well. Really like the NZXT ones but don’t need liquid cooling and all. Thanks; https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/gabe1905/saved/9YD4nQ

Could u include a CPU cooler instead of a HDD, I already have many of them maybe $100

Do you have any recommendations for a video card, I’m willing to spend outside the budget. The case is purchased outside the budget.

I’m looking to make a computer for $600 (don’t mind a little over), for light video editing and Photoshop and medium level gaming. Just make a pretty barebone part list (PCPartPicker). I would prefer a i5 8th Generation and I already have a case purchased. thanks

Do you think I should go for a Intel i5-7600k (7th gen) instead of the i7-6700??

And if I had an extra $50, would you recommend spending on the CPU, RAM, motherboard, or the graphics card??

No, I have a few SSDs lying around.
-
I don't want to spend alot, maybe around 800. It is just for the experience.

Hi, I need help building a PC. I am planning to buy an Intel i5 6600k and I just want to have the experience of building a computer. I am going to mainly use this PC for Photoshop, After Effects and some light gaming. I'm just looking for a few recommendations. I need a recommendation for: - a motherboard - RAM - power supply - graphic card (don't want to spend TOO much) I have a case, optical drive, and peripherals in mind already. Thanks!
