I have my cable ... but monitor behaves exactly like with no cable at all. Only Blue light - no red blinking of anything. Blue light turns off after a second or two and speakers give a slight clicking sound once. Nothing else happens.

thanks again Yes it was very cheap - and I was aware about the shortcomings I've gotten it for half the price of a new one. I suppose still better then buying a TN panel

Hello,I am a little worried. I have bought a used Qnix 2710 on ebay and the seller had not provided a DVI-D cable with it. So I am still waiting for my cable to arrive and can not test this monitor plugged in right now. (it only has a DVI port).But I have figured I could maybe test it in standby, maybe see some light bleeding or test-screen or something. But when I press the power button the control-led is only showing blue light for 2 seconds and the speakers are making a quick and quiet noise and the control led turns off. The panel never powers up, not backlight is active nothing else happens. No standby screen nothing. Is this to be expected from a single input screen like this, or am I in trouble here? I never had a single input monitor before.
