  1. The results from who crashed was pretty general and i did google it and it just said its either the gpu drivers or my ram im gonna try uninstall and reinstall my gpu drivers as i have already done a test on my ram and it had no errors so i dont think its my ram but i will still try different sticks i did try and fresh install of windows but no luck
  2. This is whats so strange cause it runs other games fine no problems at all but a lot of the games i play aren't demanding and these games are a bit more so i think its when the pc gets pushed the 3080 was brand new aswell are a lot of the components the only older parts are the cpu and mobo
  3. Hi guys my pcs been acting up recently and its frying my brain SPECS CPU: I7 7700k old GPU: Rtx3080 less than 6 months old PSU: 1000w Rog strix PSU less than 6 months old RAM: 32gb 3600mhz ram corsair Rgb(2x16gb) 3months old MOBO: Asus Asus z170 pro old So i have had issues with 3 games so far Dead space remaster can only play for 5 mins plays fine then crashes has BOSD once but all other times just closes (loads of people having issue with this game tho so unsure) Frostpunk plays fine for a few hours and then will crash and after that can only play for 10-15 mins before crashing and has blue screened onced Call of duty cold war Has blue screened a few times and has crashes multiple What i have tried Checked my gpu drivers was up to date Reset windows Made sure temps was fine whilst playing (was a bit toasty but nothing crazy) Cleaned out any dust (not much in there anyway) Read the windows dumps with who crashed which just said (memory/driver issues) What i think the culprit may be is my Ram as i play more demanding titles the ram speed picks up to 3600mhz and the Mobo can only support 3200mhz i found out so im thinking if i manually slow it this may stop the crashes and bosd??? I have used the memory diagnostic tool and it came back with no errors Also im going to update my Mobo as there is an update but i dont think its this. I have only recently started playing demanding games so have never really pushed my pc. This pc has ran fine for 6 months and now all of sudden doesnt Was just wondering what peoples thoughts was and maybe things i could try as i feel if these dont work im really gonna have no clue what to do at all and will probably need to pay to take it to a shop thanks to anyone who gives advice Have a great day :)
  4. Hey guys im planning on installing another 8gb stick of ram to run dual channel with a 8gb stick which is already installed in my pc. The 8gb in my pc runs at 1.5 1600mhz DDR3 I have found 2 8gb sticks on amazon one is £29 from crucial which spec wise is identical to my pre installed 8gb stick except for the voltage. The other stick i have found is from Corsair which is £39 which is priceir but is spec wise exactly matches my other 8gb stick the Crucial one runs at 1.35v The Corsair one runs at 1.5v The simple question is does voltage matter on ram when pairing it with another and which one should i get? thanks to everyone who helps you guys save me so much hassle
  5. Hey guys i have had my pc for about 5 years now and i dont play games enough to justify buying a complete new system. Its held up suprising well over the years considering it was a budget gaming pc but with each newer title i play the lack of performance is starting to show. I would like to upgrade some parts of my system but im worried about bottle necking the newer parts with the older parts. If you guys could just give me a few suggestions on what to upgrade or even if i should just start a fresh with a new system thank you to anyone who contributes here are my current pc specs p.s My botherboard has always said 120 temperature from day one so dont worry about that haha i dont really have a price range just tell me what you guys think is needed to run modern titles at 1080p high settings averaging above 60fps type of games i play: call of duty warzone, doom eternal, rainbow six seige and the new re3 remake when it comes out Links: My pc case:https://www.openlogic.ie/index.php/catalogue/computer-components-category/gamer-pc-products/neptune-gamer-case-12cm-blue-no-psu-detail I hope i gave you guys a good amount of info to give advice if anymores needed just let me know and thanks again
  6. Hey bud i have looked at your specs and think yours are the best for the games im going to be running thanks for putting these specs up for me
  7. Thanks il have a look at these specs even though i would prefer to stick with nvidia i could be tempted to change if it meant saving some money
  8. So if you think a new build would be the best option what main componets do you think would be nessecary ie cpu gpu motherboard those types of things my budget would be no more than £2000 but try to save where you can please thanks.
  9. I was worried by simply buying a new graphics card and more ram that my cpu would be bottle necking my rig and not sure if i would need a better power supply due to all the upgrades so if i have to upgrade all the main components of my pc i would rather buy an entire new pc but i suppose i wouldnt want to spend more than £2000 on upgrades or a new system
  10. Hey guys asking for some advice i have recently changed to a 4k monitor and my pc has not got the juice to play games at 4k 60fps at high/maximum settings. Im willing to spend money to upgrade my rig but i want to put my money in the right places so heres my question: Should i upgrade parts of my current pc to bring it up to speed with 4k gaming or would i be better off starting fresh with an entire new system? thank you to anyone who responds and offers there advice. p.s im a bit of a technical noob so speak in simple language for my simple brain <3
  11. Okay thanks bro il try to keep this in mind when choosing what specs i have.
  12. Thank you so much mate il defo consider these specs really big help <3
  13. I will be buying the 4k monitors after i figure out the specs and cost of the computer itself before hand so i can get an a total cost of it all.
  14. I already have keyboard, mouse and monitors and yes i would like a genuine windows 10 thanks
