Hello everyone,
My PSU came with some cables, and I have no idea if I am connecting them wrong, because as soon as I turn on my computer, it turns back off... and it may be my imagination, but it gives off a smell.. (not good).
Relevant Hardware:
-Corsair RM 650x
-Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti (6GB)
This is the cable (I have 2 of the same)

I had already booted my computer, and everything works flawlessly.
I figured I would connect the ends both 6+2 PCI-E connectors respectively (they say PCI-E) to my GPU, and the end that says Type 4 to my PSU. Now, in regards to the 6+2 PCI-E ends, is there a particular way to connect them? Something like the main end to the right and the cable that branches off it. This is the configuration I used when I explained what's happening to my computer when it shuts off above.
I really need some detailed help to know how to connect properly my GPU...
Thank you for your help in advance!
Cheers!
