  1. hopping this topic finds it way to some one at LTT for there new editing rigs. if you add the lighting node pro to your hd 120 fans it will alow you to control mode, color, speed of the mode, and brightness level of the individual fan led sets through the corsair link software. no need to run the 3 button box outside of the case,I have 4 hd 120 and 4 led strips hooked up to one node pro and it works great i would not buy the hd120s without the node pro.
  2. before everybody flips out YES I DO KNOW that i could have bought a 1070 for the cost of this graphics card set up. so with that out of the way i bought a evga gtx 1060 6gb acx when they where released. it dose everything i wont it to and then some but its loud and hot. i was hitting 80c with 100% fan speed witch is way to hot for me. so after some looking around i found that the 970 fe pcb and the 1060 fe pcb looked vary close to the same. so i ordered a corsair hg10 970 and a h80i v2. the hg10 970 fit with no mods to it or the gpu. the h80iv2 worked but instead of the supplied thumb screws i used a cpu standoff to hold it down. would go with an aio with the h60 style pump on it. so now under load i hit a max of 50c with fan speeds between 1200-1300 rpm. hg10 970 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0151PYG4E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 gpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487260
