I wanted to fill space in the case, with red rings however i didnt want neg pressure messing with temps. So i similated rads by removing fan blades to tripple stack fans middle and filling them with dust filters to slow the air for the pull fan. I tested the system temps prior to my madness, and now i have the same temp w/ slightly more noise.
Any tripples u see have a dummy fan in the middle w/ mult. Dust filters to sim a rad. Running 60% curve not loud by any means and case is 23c gpu is oc i7 6700k to 4.6 temp. 27c idle 76 F ambient
I just looked at the two you suggested and I like the M7. My old build 1150 socket was a Msi z97 gaming 5 that did me justice. I also saw an AsRock z170 Fatality, any idea if this is also a winner? Need easy oc option, my current gigabyte g1 is not willing to do what i want.
Have a gigabite z170 micro atx and 2 1080 hybrids. Both cards dont fit due to audio and power switch hub on mobo. Purchasing a new board, id like a red and black theme, my socket is 1151. Any suggestions?
i oc it to 4.5ghz without having to mess w/ voltages....would a stronger oc say 4.7ghz get me to snuff? Currently runs 28c idle, 41load, so temp r good higher volt. may challenge my noc. air cooler
this may seem like a really dumb question but the 27in asus 4k uhd says it only supports nvidia geforce gtx cards for 144hz. are my evga 1080 hybrids compatible for this feature?
i was going to get the i7 6700k but is geared more for productivity, which i dont do, only gaming. Have seen much research on this and i loose 5% at most on cpu performance. unlikely, but may upgrade though if i see bottleneck.
