  1. what is waken? doesnt tell me anything.
  2. Hi all, maybe someone has a good idea for our upcomming business team building event. Here the background story: The company I work for does Chain Management optimizations, meaning we optimize the processes between an order and the delivery. The company has many Teams of people who together accomplish the delivery. Alle are involved in the process chain (Order, warehouse, support, delivery, etc. etc.). They all must work together as a team. So my boss came up with the idea of making an team building event for the employees to show how important it is to work together, else it will delay the chain or even fail. His first and simple Idea was to do this trough a game on a console or PC. He wanted a racing game like Forza where you split up the tasks into 3, One person to see everything on the screen, the other who only has the steering wheel and the third who has the breaks and gas pedal. I know this is very simple but it is only a first thought So maybe someone has a better idea what we could do to accomplish this? It would even be better if we could involve more than 3 people. We want to have a "modern" team building event with multimedia, so e.g. nothing with only cards or kid games like "Blind mans buff" (hopefully it's called like this). Money is not so important, i would say 2000 $ are possible. So if someone has an Idea then I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance. BR Mike
  3. Danke I will give it a try and see if I can reconstruct this
  4. hmm okay. Makes sense somehow I think So what can I do to see the real usage right now? Not what is reserved but what is really used at this moment. thanks!
  5. Thank you for the reply! Ok, so I checked the Users Tab and it is telling me 618MB RAM Usage... So if I understand this correctly then everything I manually started (Firefox, Windows Explorer, etc.) only uses 600MB RAM. Now my Process Tab shows me about 3,2GB RAM usage. Those are services like System, etc.? And my OS, Win 2012R2 takes up the rest ~5GB? Isn't that a "bit" too much?
  6. Hi all, I am working on an Windows Server 2012R2 and I noticed that the RAM Usage shown in the processes does not match up with the information in the performance tab. If I add up all processes I get about 3GB RAM Usage, but in performance it is showing me 8,5GB used. Even the Resource Monitor doesnt show any more processes. Can someone explain this? There is no other User logged on, Ive checked that. Thanks.
  7. If you live near Munich, Germany then sure you can have it
  8. Thanks to all! I will try the tools mentioned
  9. I hope you are not refering to the Windows Format option. This is easily recoverable...
  10. Thank you both. No we are not that paranoid It should just not be recoverable via freeware or other tools. I've read about Zerofilling to be "the best". Is this the case for both tools mentioned? It doesnt matter if the HDD is not usable anymore after the erase, we will throw them away.
  11. Hi all, we have several HDDs that need to be securely erased before we can throw them away. It's important that the data needs to be erased so no recovery is possible, since they are holding company data. So here my question: Which tool do you recommend? Also is it possible to Erase more than one HDD at once? I want to create a PC with about 3-4 SATA slots and start an erase job for all at once. Thanks!
  12. Depending on your clone tool you could only clone your C Partition. If your C Partition on your HDD is still bigger than your SSD you would need to clean it up and narrow it down to the size of your SSD. That is for your windows. If you have your programs and Games also on your C Partiton you will have a hard time moving it to another partiton (i.e. D:).
  13. Wasn't 50°C the temp where the cards start spinning or is that only on the GTX 1080TI?
  14. Hi all, is it possible to show the cpu and gpu frametime in graphs with the msi afterburner?? Like it is in this video: As far as I could see, there is no possibility to show graphs ingame with the msi afterburner? Thanks!
  15. Your CPU is surely your bottleneck. But you can use the msi afterburner to check which of your 2, cpu or gpu, are at 100% cap when gaming. Usually when you play MP games, your cpu will get penetrated more than in SP.
  16. For an overview use the Taskmanager, for deeper searching use the Resource Monitor (Tab Performance, at the bottom). Check CPU, Memory and Disk usage if there is any strange behavior/high usage
  17. oh ok, thanks for clearing that up too! I will try to activate both frametimes in my msi afterburner and check if there are any high spikes like in the video. ?
  18. Sorry for the stupid question but I thought there was only 1 frametime?? The time it takes for the next frame to load. So why is there a CPU frametime? Only the GPU compiles frames? I am confused ?
  19. wow... what a difference this makes... I am using the i7-4790 and am wondering if this is also the case on my system. Do you happen to know what is measured in the bottom left? Its not the fps or frametime... but what else? Thanks!
  20. Thanks for the clear up! So if I understand this correctly the unparking will only raise power consumption but on the other hand let programs and games (maybe) be more responsive?
  21. I just stumbled across this topic and I want to know what exactly the "unparking" does ?. Is it so your system always runs at max performance?
