  1. UPDATE: Got a new motherboard. Same fucking issue. I dont even know.
  2. No im afraid the BIOS doesn't recognize it either I'll try to flash he BIOS quick and see if it does anything
  3. ;( yeah I figured by now the ports are probably dead or something, ugh which really sucks cause I already have everything setup on the mobo. Thanks for the advice guys.
  4. Cleared my cmos to no avail, and obviously I checked all cables/connections. I'm really stumped here.
  5. Alright, I'm going to make this as fast and simple as possible. This is my 2nd rig I've ever built myself so I'm somewhat kowledgable in PC hardware. I put together a nice shiny new PC containing a 120GB 2.5 SSD and a 3TB HDD. However the bios doesn't recognize any of it, which I didn't consider strange because they are blank disks. But when I was going through the windows 10 installation, it would refuse to recognize any drive to install windows on! I tried everything I could think of, refresh Swap Sata ports Try a spare 1TB HDD (which still wasn't recognized) Im really at my wits end here! I know for a fact both devices are getting power. It can't be that both my brand new drives are dead?! I would grately appreciate any solution from the LTT community. The rig I'm talking about: Asus Prime X370 motherboard Ryzen 5 1600 Patriot Viper 16GB DDR4 Thermaltake Toughpower 750W Toshiba 3TB 7200RPM HDD Sandisk SSD Plus 120GB Zotac GTX 1060 Mini Thermaltake Core V31 case TL;DR: Neither my SSD or HDD will be recognized when attempting to install windows. Both are receiving power.
  6. I would like to hit 60fps or higher on maximum settings at 1080p. Which all these cards I listed should be able to do. I also wouldn't be apposed to a card that can hit higher resolutions.
  7. I knew Vega was going to be the popular option, but that also depends on it's price at launch.
  8. I've been thinking about leaving Nvidia/Intel for awhile now and today's release of the new "Ryzen" CPU's have sealed the deal for me. In the next couple months, I will be making an all AMD build and selling off my old PC. Here's the thing. Is it worth it to wait for AMD's Vega GPU lineup, Go with an RX480, or maybe a R9 Fury isn't out of the question? Please leave your thoughts and lets have a friendly discussion in this thread! [Keep in mind that we don't have a confirmed price for any Vega GPU's]
  9. I'm into a circular style. Your thoughts on the Cryorig C7?
  10. Yeah, well I'm not talking like pinky size. I have some breathing room but nothing gigantic. That right there is literally as big as I'm willing to go.
  11. I think the intel stock cooler compared to the Dark Rock TF is a worthy upgrade. It's somewhat small and supposedly quiet. As for case fans that's easy enough.
  12. I'm looking for a small, quiet cooler that's attractive as well. My case is from a pre-built manufacturer (cause I didn't know anything about computers when I first got mine) It's from that newegg pre-builder ABS. It's a standard Mid Tower ATX with area's for two case fans, one at the top and one at the back. I doubt you can find the case. EDIT THE SHIT OUT OF THIS: It's a Raidmax Vortex
  13. Located in the good ol' US of A and I'm just saying bordering/going into the 80's doesn't make me comfortable. Like I said, I'm looking for an upgrade not something to save my PC from melting.
  14. At idle my CPU is around 45-51 C and under an average gaming load it goes around 61-75 C. Under CPU intensive games it goes into the 80's and that makes me scared. I'm rocking a nice black/blue simple look throughout my entire setup (RGB case fan would be nice) and my system specs are on my profile.
  15. Out of all these suggestions, I'm loving the Dark Rock TF. Thanks m8.
