  1. Hey guys, I have an i5 11400 16GB RAM 3200Mhz GTX 1070ti and Ultrawide 1440p monitor, and thinking what's the best GPU upgrade I could avail for my system? I am thinking of RTX 3070 but I think i5 11400 might bottlenecked the card? Interested on your thoughts. Many thanks
  2. Thanks buddy. I'll try it. I like your word "idiot-proof" hahaha
  3. Hi guys, any idea what's the safe overclock for my new Palit 1070ti Dual Fan? I just wanted to get even just a little bit extra performance.. Any idea would be very helpful. Cheers.
  4. very informative.. wow you've got a really great monitor.. me here still rocking an asus vc239H I bought way back 2012 (back then it's a pretty decent monitor but now is an "okayish" monitor haha).. thank you so much bro for the help.. I have narrowed down my choices and somehow clear my mind with your help..
  5. thanks mate I think I've got now the answer.. Anyway what monitor do you currently rock on?
  6. Does it mean that if I have a let's say 144hz monitor (non Gsync), I will feel the fps dips (dips like 90ish or so) even though I have a higher refresh rate?? sorry I don't have any experience with the high refresh rate monitors.. I currently have standard 60hz monitor and I can say that I can feel whenever it dips to 40-50ish.. is this something I need to worry about... (my goodness I am going crazy hahahah)
  7. Thanks mate Appreciate your response.. I hope you can make this clear to me; so let's say you have a 120hz monitor and you can run it at 120fps with some dips to 80-90 fps, will the experience still be smooth?? Currently I have a 60hz monitor and I must say that I really notice when the fps dips to 40-50ish.. not sure if the experience will be the same for higher refresh rates though. (I am really confused as to what monitors to buy!! there was never a Gsync before hahaha.)
  8. Currently I have an i5 4690K @ 4.4Ghz 16GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 970 (which I've been planning to upgrade to 1070 this christmas).. what do you think is the right specs for a gsync monitor.. Thank you.. I really appreciate you feedback. this community is good..
  9. Been planning to buy a new monitor but I am thinking if it is worth to buy a G-sync monitor given its premium price. Is it better to just buy a standard monitor and save up for a gpu upgrade (currently I have GTX 970, planning to upgrade it to 1070). Any feedback will be much appreciated.
  10. Woaahh that's quiet a bad news coz I am planning to buy BF1 soon. i5 4690K is bottleneck on that game really??
  11. Totally understand mate. I don't see myself getting a kabylake or even a cannonlake soon due to more important commitments. Just want to rock myself with 1070 this year and sell my 970.
