  1. Hi there Guys and Girls I'm probably not in the right place but I hope somebody can help or at leasy point me in the right direction. I really am sorry, this is my first time using a forum of any kind... Below are my machines bench results and I am sure I can get it to work better but I honestly don't have a clue where to start or even what is considered "safe" I'm not really a PC gamer my machines main function is Video Production and Studio (Audio Recording) so stability is key but could anybody perhaps help me make any adjustments that would help me allow my machine to "be all it can be" I would really appreciate it ? I mostly work with Adobe CC and Cubase 9 UserBenchmarks: Game 70%, Desk 82%, Work 75% CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K - 88.2% GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB - 70.1% SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - 102.2% HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB (2017) - 56.7% HDD: Hitachi HDS721050DLE630 500GB - 71% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C15 1x16GB - 40.7% MBD: Asus TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING
  2. Greetings from Sunny South Africa I am looking to build a new Machine first of all this is going to be a Machine Primarily for Music Production Using Cubase 9 so I will be connecting outboard audio gear to the PC but I need the Motherboard to support Thunderbolt 2 and 3 Type C connectivity as the heart of my new Recording Studio is the Focusrite 8Pre X so Processing power and RAM is a big one... I also do some video editing with Adobe Premier Pro for YouTube Videos. My Current Machine has a older intel core i7 with 12 gigs of ddr3 ram a graphics card that is so out dated that I cant even find a windows 10 driver for it. I work with multiple screens. With all that said though I also watched the 2016 buyers guide and I am still on a tight budget so I am not sure which i7 will be best for my needs. The case also needs to be as silent as possible as it will be running in a recording studio's control room. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't play any games on my machine at all, I have my XBOX ONE for that :-) Thank you all in advance for any assistance. I've seen many builds on Linus's Tech Tips but never a recording studio workhorse so it would be really cool to get some help from the Gurus when it comes to an optimized Studio Machine, also I don't know how to overclock and so on so I just want speed and stability outta the box if you know what I mean? Regards Erwin
