  1. So I have a Phanteks P400S TG, I have 5 fans in total. 2 are mounted to the rad in the front and they are pulling air in through the rad. The other 2 are at the top exhausting, the last is at the back and that is also currently exhausting. I felt the back of my case when playing some games earlier and the rear fan is exhausting nothing because the 2 in the top are already exhausting all the air from the rad before it even gets to that fan. So would it be a good idea to change that rear fan into an intake instead? Another reason is the only intakes I currently are pulling through a rad which will obviously weaken air flow so maybe adding another unobstructed one would be a good idea? I may be way off the mark on this one, only joined PCMR a few days ago so I have some things to learn.
  2. Honestly that is so handy. It's insane how fast you can get group tasks done when you have 4 people working on the same document.
  3. I get the privacy concern with it, and that was the reason why I didn't want to use it. But then I realised that I have a Facebook account and use Windows 10 so im already compromised.
  4. I have been using Google Drive for about 18 months. I started using it heavily along with other Google services when I got my Nexus 6p. Since September I have been using Drive as my file storage solution for ALL of my College work as I don't have to worry about having the right up to date version of the same file or worry about saving as its all synced automatically with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets ect. However I have seen that OneDrive has now gotten a lot better and now has great sync between that and Office Online. Also Amazon Cloud Drive has unlimited storage, so there is definitely a lot of alternatives. So what are your thoughts of Google Drive and cloud storage as a whole, do you have a favorite? Let me know. Thanks in advance.
  5. I guess when I was installing it in my head I thought "Oh when I comes to uninstall it, surely I can just delete the partition" Quickly learnt I was wrong and I was then playing with a load of shit I didn't really understand.
  6. Well I think i've learned a lesson from all of this. And thats to really kno what im actually getting into first.
  7. Yeah I just underestimated the shit I was playing with.
  8. Yes I wish I had just booted if of the USB drive to know if I liked it.
  9. I seen someone say that when I was looking for a solution. But while I could see the boot priority in the BIOS I could not change it for some reason, unless I was just being an idiot.
  10. About 2 months ago I was a bit bored and decided I wanted to duel-boot linux alongside Windows 10 on my machine. I had no real reason to do this other than I wanted to prove to myself that I could. The installation process went pretty well and within about 5 minutes I was booted into the latest version of Ubuntu. "Now What" That was the first thing I thought when I looked at my new linux desktop, after about 10 minutes of trying to get to know Linux I made the call that it wasn't for me and I was just going to stick with Windows. However, the trouble was that now my PC was booting Ubuntu by default and It was so annoying every time I would start my machine having to quickly tap the arrow keys so the machine did not boot into an OS I didn't like. While this was annoying I put of uninstalling it for about a month, then I decided to look into how about I go about getting it off my machine. All I can say is I wish I had looked at how to uninstall it before installing it, because if I had I probably wouldn't of bothered as I knew I would most likely uninstall it anyway. I was under the impression that I could just remove the partition and that would be the end of it, after doing a bit of research I found that I needed to uninstall the GRUB and rewrite the Windows one. To do this I used EasyBCD. I neglected to notice that EasyBCD had spat out some sort of Windows permission error and therefore couldn't write the windows bootloader. After booting into my PC and being met with a command line interface that was like something out of 1988 I knew I had fucked up, at this point I was seriously panicking that I had corrupted my machine and done some damage, proceeding to the Ubuntu forums and other tech help websites I finally managed to reorganize my boot priority with the help of EasyUEFI. All told the process was about 3 days long as I thought I was going to have to get my hands on a Windows Install disk. I know there will be some people who will shit all over me because I was very unsure and stupid about how I went about this, but please bare in mind that I am a total noob to duel-booting a machine.
