  1. Yeah pretty much everything is identical to the k95. That's one gripe I have with my current k70 is the media keys are hard to see and use if you're looking at them from an angle, but the k95 fixes that. They still haven't officially announced anything from what I've seen but I guess we'll see soon if Amazon leaked it.
  2. Alright then ignore everything I said
  3. If the headphones aren't advertised as 7.1 I'm 99.9% sure it won't work as 7.1. That's not to say you won't get better directional sound though, and directional sound on stereo speakers can still be pretty amazing. I'd wait for someone else who knows more to say something here since I'm not really an audiophile expert, but if no one else says anything you should at least have this
  4. I guess though if you want to justify it I would consider speeds to be a pretty significant upgrade over reds for gaming, and if you get the white it will come with their double shot PBT keycaps as well as better reflections for brighter lights and an arguably better aesthetic depending on what you have. I personally like the standard color more but the better keycaps might make it worth it. Everything else looks like a k95, and after looking at it for a while it has a bigger wrist wrest and the same bigger media keys as a k95 as well as the rgb logo.
  5. Yeah I would too. Although if I were to upgrade from my k70 I'd rather get a k95 so I'll probably wait until they release a new k95... That way I could better justify it You could always "accidentally" spill water on it when cleaning lol
  6. I just saw this on amazon when looking at keyboards Is this old news? It looks to me like a k95 without the lightbar or macros... Still not sure if there has been any official mention by Corsair and I can't find information on it anywhere online. Curious what people think. Edit: There is also a white version Edit 2: It looks like they took it down but you can still see the "older" models are called mk1 under style.
  7. Good to know. Thanks for the help
  8. I've been looking for new open back headphones and the 598s look pretty great. I'm curious if they're still good even though they're a few years old. I've never had open back or audiophile headphones, and I have been trying to move away from gaming headsets. I'll mostly be gaming, but I also listen to a lot of music at my computer as well as watch movies every now and then. I'm open to other suggestions too in the same price area.
  9. I think I figured it out. Even though my board is already out, my friend's MSI board isn't released until the 25th. My guess is because they are paired together for delivery I won't get mine until he does. Rip.
  10. I'm in the US, Washington State. Boards were ordered a couple days ago with the processor and ram
  11. I just got my ryzen 7 2700x and RAM and noticed my motherboard hasn't shipped yet. I ordered an asus prime x470, and my friend who's board also hasn't shipped ordered an msi pro carbon x470. Not really a huge issue, just curious if anyone has had an x470 board ship yet.
  12. When Ryzen 2 launches, I'm going to do a big upgrade on my computer. Right now, I have a p400s. As much as I love the case, my graphics card temperatures are high and I want to top mount my radiator. I need recommendations for a new case to help fix these issues. Criteria: *Decent airflow. Better than a p400s but doesn't need to be anything extreme *Looks good, tempered glass would be great *Support for ATX board/PSU and a large GPU (I have a strix card) *Support for a top mounted AIO (I have an h100i) *Good cable management. Some space behind the motherboard would be nice. Extra features that would be nice include: *Integrated RGB of some kind *Dedicated SSD mounts *Smaller footprint/less wasted space I don't want to spend more than 150 dollars, but if the case comes with some of those extra features I'd be willing to pay up to 200. I've been looking at the h700i, but the price is steep. It hits most of the points on the list, but I don't know if I want to spend that much I also have looked at the meshify C, but I have concerns about the radiator mixed with that graphics card, and I have no real way to test if it will work on the top with the motherboard/ram.
  13. That shouldn't be a problem. The pump has a fan controller on it and it seems to work really well with the stock fans. Thanks for the advice though!
  14. Your account says you're in Seattle. In the Seattle area I know some of the local bestbuys had good deals on 1070s (I think it was 400 dollars in puyallup). I checked it out looking for keyboards. Frys probably has something too, but I'm not sure. As far as online I couldn't find anything, and make sure to call in ahead of time.
  15. This is exactly the type of reply I was looking for. ML pros it is. Thanks a lot!
  16. Yea I can look at getting that taken off, another fan would help. I think I can still use the hard drive cage too if I just do a fan. When I get the new stuff I'll switch the fans around too, I already had thought about that. Thanks for the help with that. I'll try it out when I can.
  17. I wanted to do that originally but I don't think the case officially supports a top radiator, I have issues with ram clearance. I'm thinking if I put two 140mm fans on the top I can draw in more air. I'd have to deal with more dust but that really isn't a huge problem since it'll be easy to clean. I can try moving the radiator to the top again but I don't think it'll work. Here's the picture. With the new fans I'll probably change it to a push configuration in the front and of course clean up all those cables. T
  18. I should have been more clear. The radiator only cools the cpu but since I've installed it I went from 2 140mm fans in the front to 2 120mm fans with a radiator in front of them. The graphics card is on air. I think there are a few things I could change to fix that but I feel like the new fans would help a lot since they could spin at a higher speed while remaining quiet. The more I talk about this the less I think this post belongs in water cooling.
  19. I'm looking for new fans for my h100i since the stock fans get crazy loud and my graphics card temps get really high. I have a front radiator and I was wondering if it would be better to use the ml 120s or Silentwings 3 for the radiator. I like having a quiet computer, and I have a few questions about these fans. 1. Are the BeQuiet fans significantly quieter than the Corsair fans? The Amazon page suggests they are but someone's opinion would mean more to me. 2. Is the performance of the Silentwings better to where it would be worth spending the extra 8-10 dollars for the 2 fans? 3. Would I see any noticeable improvement in gpu temperatures? This isn't a huge problem and I'm not throttling, but it is uncomfortable that even basic games drive up the temperatures to 80+ degrees (rx 480 strix) The case is a p400s. If you need any other information about the computer the specs should be on the profile.
  20. Thanks. I have 3 fans, 2 for the radiator and 1 for the exhaust, all were clear of cables. I'll give it a few days and come back if nothing changes. Thanks again!
  21. I just got an h100i v2 today. The pump is making a light purring/grinding sound that is similar to a cable hitting a fan. I'm pretty sure it's from an air pocket in the loop. So far I've tried rotating the case both sideways and upside down, shaking the radiator, raising the radiator above the pump, and adjusting the tubes. One video I saw said that you need to give it time, but I don't know for sure how accurate that is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  22. I have a dx racer racing series chair (DOH/RW106). So far, I really love everything about the chair beside the tilt. I accidentally bought the version with a conventional tilt mechanism instead of a multifunctional tilt. Is it possible to buy the base for the multifunctional version and replace it with this one? I don't want to go through returning this chair. The main reason for this is I want to lock the tilt all the way back, but as far as I know, I can't do that with this model. If there is a way to do that, I'd also be open to it.
  23. My power supply has been getting unusually loud. For a while it has been making a quiet grinding noise whenever the computer is on. The psu is a Corsair cx 750M. I originally had it mounted upside down, but after the pc had been under full load for around 20 minutes, the fan got unbearably loud to the point where there is definitely a problem. It sounds almost as if there is sand in the bearings grinding. When I flipped it to fan side up, I still get the grinding sound, but not nearly as loud. The case is a p400s on a desk, so airflow is likely not the issue. I know the most oblivious solution is to RMA it, but I don't want to do that unless I have to since it is my only power supply.
