  1. I was thinking about something like that as well. But I think it needs to be a little more professional. It will be displayed at a convention so potentially hundreds of people will need to be able to step on it. Also I don't have something like a pressure sensitive pad, as I don't know where to start. Can you point me in the right direction on what I would need?
  2. Hi Guys, I'm currently making an interactive film project. The idea is that I will put a sticker or shaped doormat on the floor, and when someone steps on that, a video starts playing on a screen. I need some help on how to build that kind of trigger. Can someone give me some advice on how to approach something like this? I was thinking about some arduino stuff that can trigger a simple keypress. I've tried some google-ing but without luck!
  3. They sent me a different board, with a different serial number. The strange thing is my previous crucial memory kit is listed on that boards QVL, so when i RMA'd the board and the memory i expected it to be fixed, but it still only saw half of my memory. I indeed tried all slots and they all worked fine so i started to think it was a CPU memory controller issue. But when i bought a completely new CPU, mobo and ram i thought my problems would disappear, they didn't. Instead of checking the QVL i indeed relied on the information on Corsair's site which states they are compatible with X99. So I'm unsure if i buy another memory kit, that is listed on the QVL if that will work or not.
  4. Thanks, I see that my kit is indeed not on the list. Which is weird because almost the same modules in 128GB configuration are listed, confirming that some 16GB Vengeance modules will work. If there is nothing else I can try i'll sell my current kit and buy a new one that is on the QVL. Only problem is the current memory prices
  5. lol i also just tried that but didn't mention it because i thougt it was irrelevant. When i did that task manager showed 28GB, with 3GB hardware reserved. Are there perhaps people out there with the same motherboard and memory kit who can confirm that they work together for them? I'm thinking it might be a compatibility issue with 16GB sticks.
  6. I've already tried that a couple of times, without succes, I just tried checking it on again (it wasn't checked), rebooting, and checking it off again and rebooting, again without succes...
  7. I am, as described by the manual. Some suggested to try with the sticks all on one side, or all in the black slots instead of the gray. But i tried that and it never recognized more than two sticks, even though if I boot with one stick at a time they work fine individually.
  8. Current specs: Asus X99 Deluxe II (Bios 1504(latest)) 64GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4-2133 (4x16GB) (CMK64GX4M4A2133C13) Intel 6900K Geforce GTX 980 Corsair RM750 Intel 730SSD Couple WD HDD's Both windows and the bios only recognize 32GB. Bios only sees two sticks, but CPU-Z sees all four. So this issue actually started around 2 years ago. My specs then were Asus X99 deluxe, Intel 5820K and 32GB of Crucial ballistix elite(4x8GB). My PC then only recognized 16GB. I've tried changing memory voltages, XMP, changing slots, tested memory sticks 1 by 1, msconfig, memory overlocking and overvolting, bios update, OS reinstall but nothing worked. I RMA'd both the memory and the motherboard, and after waiting 3 months for a new mobo (thanks ASUS support, Crucial RMA only took about a week...) the issue remained. Only 16GB recognized... I've just kept working with 16GB despite needing more. Fast forward to December 2016, I've upgraded my CPU, Motherboard an Ram to my current specs. All other parts remained the same. I reinstalled the OS, booted up windows and what....??? Only 32GB's of my 64GB's are recognized by windows and the bios? I've upgraded all parts that could've caused the issue but it still remains... So I've tried the same things as before, memory voltages, swapping mem sticks and slots, etc. but without luck. Bios only shows 2 slots occupied, sometimes 2 different slots but never more than 2. Windows sees 32GB but the strange thing is that Cpu-z sees all 64 in 4 slots. I'm currently out of options. I can't afford to wait for another RMA and I don't think it'll help. What else can I do? Could the GPU or PSU be affecting my memory? Or is my memory kit (and the one from 2 years ago) just incompatible with my motherboard?
