I'm currently in the process of building a rig that can handle some CAD work for my job. The CPU that I have chosen was the ryzen 7 2700x but, unfortunately, the CPU doesn't have any integrated graphics. I am not looking to game on this rig at all. What budget GPU would you guys recommend.

Do you think this could cause my GPU to not be recognized?

I have the trial version but it is all updated

I've tried directly downloading the driver from nvidia and it loads up and stops, saying it's not comparable with my windows

I ended up uninstalling the drivers with ddu and the 2080 was not recognized under the menu but the gtx 980 was. I'm really not sure what to even do now

No but I did try a gtx 980 and it did the same thing

I just did and it didn't do anything. As well as the motherboard update.
