Hi, I am looking for suggestions of which 4080 or 4090 laptops to get, I only want to buy on amazon.com as I have a lot of $ in amazon gift cards. Laptops currently available, or laptops that'll be released later this year, as I can wait. My current laptop is an MSI and I've had many problems with it and don't want another MSI. I am mainly interested in Asus or Acer. Price doesn't matter a whole lot unless its massively overpriced. Ryzen CPU preferred, but a top tier i9 is fine.

Her laptop is old and slow. She doesn't play games so it doesn't need a GPU. Would prefer a Ryzen laptop and either 8gb or 16gb ram (16gbp preferably). 256gb SSD only is fine, but more would be preferred. What non-gaming laptops are good? I would want it to be a windows laptop also.

Just got a new laptop and downloaded the newest version of itunes. On my library, when I type in a letter on my keyboard, itunes goes all the way to the last song. For example if I type "D" to find bands starting with D, itunes will instead go all the way to the last song on my library. How do I fix this? On my PC it works as normal, but I'm having this issue on my laptop. Windows 10

It says on the spec sheet SATA / nvme Anyways I ordered a 970 evo plus, will that work? Another thing on the spec sheet it says pcie gen3, does this mean if i got a gen4 it would not work?

On discord my mic doesn't work, and when I went to test my mic on a mic test site it didn't work either. I use a hyperx cloud alpha headset, I use them as headphones only, I do not use the mic on the headset. On my acer nitro laptop I had no issues. In windows privacy settings for microphone and camera I have "allow apps to access your mic and camera" On. On my sound settings, for output its Realtek HD Audio 2nd output, and for input its Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio). On discord, for input device it does not work using Default and does not work using Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio). Neither worked.

All the games seem to be in D : / steamfolder / steamapps / common Would I just copy paste the 'steamapps' folder, or copy paste the "steamfolder" folder

All of my steam stuff is in a folder called "Steam folder" in D drive. Would I literally just copy and paste the entire folder and put it on my external hdd?

Getting my new laptop tomorrow and would like to put my steam game folder on the new laptop so i dont have to re download everything. I have an external HDD or usb drives to use to transfer. What are the steps to do this?

Also they are all highly reviewed on best buy. Is the $2200 Ge66 worth it over the $1800 gs66? It appears the difference is 2070 super vs 2070 max-q, and 32GB vs 16GB ram, and 1080p webcam vs 720p webcam according to MSI website. Does that justify $400? Also, do you think the prices on the links will be lower come black friday? Is 2070 super a lot better than 2070 max q?

Really? Thought ryzen is way more power effecient than intel. What would last longer if on the same exact laptop: 4800H/4800HS or 9750H/10750H? Also what would last longer on the same laptop: 4800h/4800hs with 2060 vs 9750H/10750H with a 2070

Sure it does, if I game i have no problem having it plugged in, but I like a long battery life while im not gaming. My current laptop acer nitro 5 has a poor battery life (100 to 0 in like 90-120mins while just watching movies). Asus a15 has a much higher battery WHR so I'd assume its better battery life than the nitro
