  1. Yeah, I checked and it said it needed to be refreshed, thanks for the help
  2. My componets usually average with my CPU about 43 C and my GPU 32 or 31 C but i've had this issue once or twice where my tempertures will increase, with my CPU at about 61 C and GPU at about 57 C when i'm basically doing nothing. This recently happen last night but it started with something inside my case making a static like noise, kinda similar to coil whine but much more subtle. It happened during the boot screen for windows and just randomly while working on java in CodingBat. It would stop and every once in awhile reoccur again but not usually for long, but it still concern me. The main thing that really caught my attention, after the noises stopped for a good bit and I completely forgot about it, my toolbar randomly switched to the default light blue. At this point,I checked my tempertures and saw the ridiculous temps for doing such low demanding task. I turned off my computer and checked inside my case but couldnt find much that would cause this issue, besides some dust but I wouldn't expect my temps to increase so much randomly. At the moment, everything is normal but I would really like to know what could have caused this, the only other things open besides CodingBat was maybe a paused Youtube video and little background programs like steam and raptr. my specs: i5 3570k ASUS GTX 770 HX850 850w PSU G'skill sniper 8 GBs 1866 MHz ram MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard
  3. Thanks for the reply, I guess ill toggle it on anyways
  4. How so? idk much about VRAM but would like to know more, i know it mirrors the VRAM during sli/crossfire
  5. Mods man, but 6 GB is pretty crazy, i cant think of too many cases where you would need that much. 4 GBs is a sweet spot for intense modding and 3 GBs is almost a most for 4k resolutions
  6. I first stumbled on the setting using a Fallout new vegas application that edist the ini file for you. The description is said to help performance but idk how exactly, but i would like to use it for Skyrim if there is a possible improvement. So my overall question is, how does threading things like meshes, textures, etc affect performance? doesn't everything work of multiple CPU threads by default? my specs (stuff possibly relevant to the topic): i5 3570k 2 GB GTX 770 DirectCU II OC 8 GB 1866MHz RAM
  7. Major Depression: Very Slight Dysthymia: Very Slight Bipolar Disorder: Very High Cyclothymia: Moderate Seasonal Affective Disorder: Very Slight Postpartum Depression: N/A not surprise, my parents can be very bi polar and my depression is usually just triggered by my over thinking
  8. Sounds like an issue with the broken game, during the earlier stages of the game's release, people dealt with crashing when a building collapsed ha
  9. There has been ALOT of complaints about Battlefield 4 basically being a unfinished game with multiple bugs, it may not be any issue with your hardware. Does it crash in the main menu or during gameplay?
  10. If it was a software issue, I would think the problem would occur after the OS boots, best bet would be to try booting up with intergraded graphics or a different graphics card (if possible) or install your GPU in a different rig (if possible). RMAing a graphics card does suck, I had my first GTX 770 crap on my in less then a week :\
  11. Thanks for the information guys, chose not to install it till I get a second 120 mm fan because i dont really see how it supports my gpu, it's just kind of floating in the middle of it but the extra air flow could be nice
  12. I updated it, It should appear now ooh, how would i fit my card inside it?
  13. So it's been a month or so since I've built my rig, I love the my HAF 932 and took the time to replace the black case fans with red LED ones. But one thing I cant seem to figure out is what this black plastic thing is used for that came inside the case. I've tried googling it but I don't even know the name of it, and searching "plastic black thing inside HAF 932" doesn't give the greatest results hah. I was thinking maybe you could mount a radiator for water cooler but it seems too small.
  14. So i've had this issue for awhile but turned a blinded eye because it only recently got to a point where it's starting to become really frustrating. Time to time when i press the shift key down, the stabilizer bar some how prevents it from pressing down all the way. Im guessing it was not made properly to stay out of the way under the hooks, so my question is, can i just get rid of the damn thing? or will this cause more problems?
