  1. So I recently upgraded from a GTX960 to a GTX1070 and experienced a problem, the FPS performance is the same. I don't know what the problem is and don't know what to do. My friends and I ran a few benchmarks to test it out and everything seemed normal. The problem is for example, my Counter Strike Global Offensive game ran on about 180-220FPS with the GTX960, and the same results yield with the GTX1070. ARMA 3 at ULTRA graphics settings consistanly runs at about 40-50FPS with the GTX1070 which I believe it should be running at 100fps+ at a minimum? Even on Minecraft, my fps would not go past 140. Could it be my CPU not working properly? I highly doubt it's the new GPU that is the problem. There is also nothing blocking the air flow. Motherboard: MSI Z97S CPU: Intel core i7-4790K Video Card: EVGA GTX1070(superclocked) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Power Supply: Rosewill 500W Monitor: Asus VG248QE (144hz) Overall I just want to know a way to confirm that the performance on the GTX1070 is better than the GTX960 on my setup. So far, it doesn't seem like it and it feels like something is holding it back. Is there anything I can do?
