  1. Chipset drivers all up to date and I'm currently on BIOS version 7A32v1L there is a beta version but I haven't upgraded to that yet.
  2. Been having issues with my computer for last few weeks, random BSOD also screen sometimes goes black then the entire pc restarts? On top of this any game I try and launch just crashes after a few minutes. I have so far replaced my graphics card to a GTX 1660 Super which hasn't fixed the issue and also today I replaced my 9 year old PSU for a new Corsair RM650 and I still get the same issues? At this point I'm at a bit of a loss to what is causing the issues, does anyone have any idea what I could try to fix the issue? So far I have cleared the CMOS, reinstalled Windows 10 and reinstalled the graphics drivers. PC Specs - CPU - Ryzen 5 1600 (no OC) Mobo - MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon Memory - 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB) 2400MHz kit (CMK16GX4M2A2400C16) GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super 6GB
  3. Does anyone have anymore ideas what might be causing my games to crash? I've tried everything suggested above with no positive results I just get more crashes and black screens ever so often. I have removed all overclocks from my RAM and any voltage changes everything is stock and I still get issues? I'm starting to think my RAM is just far too slow for Ryzen 1st Gen, it's a Corsair duel channel 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz kit (CMK16GX4M2A2400C16). Has anyone else had issues with this kit? I have read that recommended kits to try and get hold of is any with Samsung b-die? At this point I'll try just about anything to get my system stable to play any game!
  4. I just tried changing the SOC voltage from 1.1v all the way 1.2v in increments and each time I got the same Hardware Failure when running AIDA64 System Stability Test, I left XMP turned on whilst doing this. Any other suggestions that I could try?
  5. I'm not quite sure where exactly I need to change this in the BIOS but I'll have a look and see. Should I leave XMP enabled when i make this change or turn it off?
  6. I have two 8GB DIMMS and they are both in the correct slots on the motherboard.
  7. Sorry forgot to add even with XMP turned off still get the same hardware failure message.
  8. I'm having few odd issues with my computer every game I try to play crashes after just a few minutes it takes about 3 attempts of launching the game before it becomes stable to play for a few hours. I have tried reinstalling Windows 10 and using DDU to uninstall graphics drivers and install them again using latest version from Nvidia but still get the same crashes. I decide to try AIDA64 System Stability Test to see if it was maybe a hardware issues which it looks as if it could be. Every time i try and run the Stability Test for the system memory I get "Warning : Hardware Failure Detected" and the test stops? I have used MemTest86 to test the memory as well and that came back with no faults found? So at this stage I'm rather confused if there is or isn't an issue with the memory? Could someone shed some light on why I might be getting these hardware failures even though MemTest86 can't see any faults with the memory? PC Specs - CPU - Ryzen 5 1600 (no OC) Mobo - MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon Memory - 16GB DDR4 (A-XMP Enabled) GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super 6GB
  9. I'm looking to upgrade my PC but every time I look to do it a new set of processors get released so I've come here for some advice. I currently have a Intel i5 760 and I'm looking to probably sticking with Intel and also with i5 range of processors, but with the recent release of Coffee Lake I now don't know whether to upgrade straight to Coffee Lake or do what my original plan was to upgrade to Kaby Lake? Below is what I have been looking to upgrade to for some time, but now with the release of Coffee Lake should I abandon moving to Kaby Lake and just go straight to Coffee Lake? Kaby Lake parts - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/LpqPCy My computer mainly gets used for just web browsing and gaming that's why I want to stick with i5 range as I don't do anything more powerful than that.
