  3. So I've decided on this build just wanted to check with people who hopefully know what there doing CPU: AMD ryzen 1700X Motherboard: MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon Case: Corsair Carbide 270R RAM: Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB (2400 GHz) PSU: EVGA 750W GQ Series GPU: GTX 1080 (Gonna get this next month) CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Price range: £1000 - £1200 (sort of, can go higher) So what do we think and any suggestions?
  4. I'm not really working to a budget but I guess i have room for up to £70-£80 on a cooler as I'm not getting the GPU (GTX 1080) till next month as I can live with the one I've got for the mean time.
  5. I've been looking around and I cant really find any info on what coolers are being used with the new processors as they annoyingly don't come with stock coolers. I want get the MSI X370 gaming pro carbon, AMD 1700X cpu, and I'm gonna put it in a corsair carbide 270 case. So any ideas what cooler to get?
  6. I'm more then likely gonna get a new CPU sometime next year so I think it will be better to have the base stuff to upgrade.
  7. Budget & Location: Budget is about £300 - £400 but I could go up to £500 Aim: This system will be mostly used for gaming and programming also I'm an extreme multitasker Monitors: I have 3 1080p monitors with 2 being 22" and a single 24" Peripherals: I already have all the peripherals as this is an upgrade. Mouse: razer naga Keyboard: razer blackwidow Why are you upgrading? I want to expand and start upgrading my computer, with the X51 there is no upgrade room and is honestly my worst ever buy. I also think my HHD may be on its way out. Other: I have a build that I have spent some time putting together but this is my first build and I don't have a clue what I'm doing. For the first part of this upgrade I'm trying to save as much as I can out of the old system.
