  1. Thanks for your answer! btw do you know if its better to have your keyboard / mouse plugged into the monitor instead of the computer?
  2. Hello LTT users! My gaming mouse has not been working correctly the past week. It randomly stops working but the lights at the top are still lit. I have to unplug the mouse or ctrl alt delete to make it work again (sometimes it works). I tried to switch USB 3.0 port to another one but it made no difference. Do you think my mouse if faulty or is it the motherboard? Logitech G402 Btw is it better to plug your mouse into a USB 3.0? Edit: I just relised that my mouse was not plugged into a 3.0 port and it was actually plugged into my monitor ASUS ROG Swift PQ278. Still what do you think is the reason why it stops working?
  3. That case looks amazing, the fan control is also really really nice. Yeah youre right, i will probably not get custom water cooling since i am moving alot.
  4. Hello i am currently using the Define R5 but i feel like the case is just too tight and i don't like the looks of it. So my plans for new year is installing everything into a new case but i need help choosing one since i am not really that high on cases. My requirements are: A mid tower thats bigger than Define R5. I really prefer having handles on it since i tend to move my rig alot. Custom water cooling potential. Good radiator space. Good airflow and cable management. Am i asking for too much for a mid tower case? should i consider getting a full tower and if so how big is it really? (i don't want to walk around with a server box). Feel free to post any cases you can think of. As i mentioned before i prefer having a mid tower case but if necessary ill upgrade into a full tower. Thank you alot!
  5. Thank you alot for taking the time and answering my questions it helped alot!
  6. Hello LTT users! I have some questions regarding the SpeedFan software so lets get straight to it. Do i need to run SpeedFan in the background for it to control my fans? Can i make a fan react to my cpu temperature and my gpu temperature at the same time or will they fight eachother? How do i know what fan it is im configuring? the names are just to complicated and i cant relate them to any of my fan names (as far as i know). Will SpeedFan override my other fan configurations or do i need to uninstall the other softwares?. I use MSI Afterburner for GPU and MSI Command Center for CPU and System fans. Is SpeedFan really the program to go with? its really complicated imo. Qustions not regarding SpeedFan: How do i know which one of the connectors i should plug the fan into on my motherboard? (x99 SLI Plus) i just plugged them into random 4 pin connectors when i installed some new aftermarket fans. I got two new Noctua fans that should be runnning at 1500 rpm but one of them is only running at 1400 rpm, can this has anything to do with where i plugged them into my motherboard? Noctua users. Do you recommend leaving the vibration pads on or off?

  8. I will check if my fans are running. If not then i will reapply it and post it.... fml..
  9. Yeah probably did was a risk i took. you think the card is broken because i can only oc it with 100mhz on core before artifacts.
  10. Hello ltt users! My 980ti is still having problems with its temperature. On stock settings it runs up to 92 degrees and i belive it isnt even on full load while so. I switched out the thermal compound which actually made it even worse. I have cleaned out all of the dust inside my case and got case fans running at 1000rpm. Can i return the card for being too hot or what are your suggestions / solutions. Im considering reapplying the thermal compound AGAIN. Thanks alot all tips are appreciated!
  11. Okay thanks, will do! for now i will just stick with the ones already there.
  12. Does anyone know the thickness of the thermal pads that the MSI 980ti is using? Thanks alot
