  1. HyperX Cloud headsets are usually pretty decent, better than most headsets in audio department but not audiophile level at all. An audiophile headphone such as the ATH-AD700x and the Antlion Modmic is a good combo.
  2. Not at all. I loved the experience of learning about parts slowly and then becoming confident enough to put together a parts list and purchase and build my PC. The experience is unforgettable.
  3. I got myself an ASUS Strix RX580 the week they came out, I had been planning my build for a long time and then I got that for less than $300. I'm so glad I didn't wait.
  4. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but if you are using an NVMe M.2 SSD you boot times shouldn't be slow. I do remember hearing in a JayzTwoCents video that Ryzen takes a long time to POST on the first boot up, but other than that I know nothing.
  5. The RAM will most likely be too big, unless you move the fans. However, I'm not sure how many RAM slots the cooler interferes with, if it only blocks the one closest to the CPU and you are only using two RAM sticks you'll be fine.
  6. Most motherboard that support SLI come with SLI bridges, but they are very plain, so if you want something else you could probably just look on any GPU manufacturer's site. I know Asus and EVGA have them, and MSI and Gigabyte probably have options as well.
  7. I didn't read it, but here's a review if you want http://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-radeon-rx-580-overclock,34397.html
  8. Don't bother getting a single-fan rad, get something like the Cryorig H5 or R1
  9. Hey, it's a 580 for less than $300 so that has to be good right?
  10. You'll be fine with a 550w PSU. I have the G2 in my build and I love it. No issues and the black cables are nice.
  11. There is a PSU Teir list on this forum, just search for it in the top right. I would recommend something at least Teir 3 or higher.

Say giving someone guidance by saying 16:9 is square doesn't make much sense. Also you don't need to get your jimmies rustled over me "farming content," which is stupid because I have been on this site for around 8 months and don't even have 400 posts. I apologize if you felt like I wasn't contributing to the conversation, and I'm sorry, but I really feel like your response was unnecessary.

You can have your GPU outputting 90 FPS, but it will not look any smoother. In fact, you would experience some screen tearing.

    16:9 isn't square?

Hz (hertz) is the number of times a panel can refresh per second. So a 144Hz monitor can have 144 separate images on screen per second. Higher hertz makes images smoother. 4k is 3840 x 2160, or UHD, QHD is 2160 x 1440, and FHD is 1920 x 1080, and I think people call that 2k? Edit: so when saying 1080p, 1440p etc you use the second number, or the vertical number of pixels, and 4K/2K is by the first number, or the number of horizontal pixels.
