  1. The temperature could be caused by the microcode updates. I used to get 70 max with 1.4 llc5@ 5.2GHz, now im getting around 80 degrees max after the patch.
  2. why not, oced rtx 2080 ti should be comparable to stock Titan V in FP32 workload same for oced 2080 and stock Titan Xp (different fab tho) and that's about half the price...the more you buy, the more you save
  3. does your 750ti has a pcie power connector?
  4. overheat or over-voltage could damage the vram and caused artifacts, but no sane miner would do that, in fact miners usually undervolt their cards to get better power efficiency
  5. who mines with 1050tis? you should worry about them being fake chips much more than they were mining cards..ask to see the die if you can.
  6. reflow soldering I would recommend against it...
  7. You would be fine if you keep them at stock speed. The PSU you have is rated 600W on the 12v rail alone @40 degree so bear that in mind, you could run into some stability issues if you heat it up too much with the overclock..
  8. Yes but commenting in the post doesn't mean he advocate it. iirc he was here to stop all the crappy tier lists(Tom's, TPU...etc) and educate/correct us about PSUs
  9. Just to let you know the whole image, this list is not parsed by jonnyguru...talking about "tiers" results in *instaban* over there... Tons of the low scores from jonnyguru were due to inconsistent power output under HEAVY loads... i.e. if you only need 300W from 12V but you find a decent deal on a 600W psu, you will be fine to go with some of the "low tiers" from reputable brands and save some bucks...but you should've known that you cannot pull 600W 24/7 from that...
  10. In some games, yes.
