  1. let see, as far as i can tell, it matches "m-key" so things are looking good, thanks!
  2. (Excuse my ignorance) So you mean that it doesn't matter and I can still use it?
  3. Hello, I recently bought this laptop https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078RYYKVW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and its pretty good except that it has very little storage. I started to look for upgrade options and a friend sold me his Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW) After taking apart the laptop to upgrade it, i pulled out the old one and saw that it is different at the end. Thinking there might be a compatibility issue i learned that there are many types of m.2 ssd and the one i bought is nvme while the one that was on my laptop is sata. My guess is that the new one is useless to me and now i have to sell it, but I wanted to be sure so im asking if this is the case or if there is anything that can be done.
  4. Hello, i bought this card a while back and its served me well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OM0L9ZO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 thing is, lately the signal im getting is very low compared to the full signal i got when i first installed it. Seems to me like changing the stock intel antenna (its like a little square with two cables) would fix my problem but im not sure which options are compatible with the card. For example, i searched amazon and found this which looks promising but i dont know how to see if its compatible or if its actually better than the stock antenna: (posible replacement) https://www.amazon.com/Highfine-Wireless-Extension-Bulkhead-Repeater/dp/B01GMBUS8O/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1499625236&sr=8-5&keywords=wifi+card+antenna Any help with my issue is appreciated.
  5. Okay, i see. Thanks, you have been very helpful. One last thing, i saw this on amazon, would it work?
  6. Oh, sorry. Let me see if these pics clear things up (First image) is of bluetooth connector, instructions tell me it goes in (second image) "jusb" pins. Thing is, my front panel usb connector (third image) needs to go there to work. What kind of options are available to me so i can use my new card+keep my usb port? (You mentioned something about adaptors, if that would help me, please tell me more about that)
  7. Hello, I bought this wifi+bluetooth card (image included) And hooked it up to my motherboard (image included) All works well except that i have to connect the bluetooth to the pins where my front panel usb port connecter goes (9 pin area). The connect for my bluetooth only takes up four pins , leaving the pins that my usb would use, "free". The problem is that my usb port connector while using only four pins has a block at the tip of the cables, that takes up the entire 9 pins. The issue is this, can i somehow remove that block so i can just connect the four cables that my usb would use right next to my bluetooth connector? Am i looking at this problem the wrong way? (I think i am because there is another 9pin area on my motherboard that is unlabled, but i cant plug in my usb port connector there, and when i connect my bluetooth, it recieves no power)
  8. Not sure if this is the right place for the question but here goes. Im moving to a small apartment in august and i want to take my pc with me. Its a mid tower pc that uses a 32" lcd tv as a monitor. I have looked around on amazon for quite a bit and googled "small pc desks" but the results seem like they are not good quality for price. Also, since i am shopping online, i dont have an accurate feel for the desks. What desk would you recomend that is decently priced, and is considerate of small spaces (has storage options and whatnot)?
  9. I built a computer not so long ago and it works well, thing is now i want to protect it because im moving to a place that has ocasional blackouts. My local store is advertising this UPS model and im not sure if its the right choice for my computer that uses 270w~aprox. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=384736151891664&substory_index=0&id=173891616309453 Is it a good option? If not then why? And what is a good option?
  10. I just built my first computer and it turned out great. All was working properly until i went into the amd graphics settings and started to check what did some of the setting do. I turned on gpu scaling because the web said it makes resolution issues more convenient to handle, but the problem is im using an 1080p hdtv. When I turned it on, the screen started to go black for a couple of seconds and turn on again, so i knew that setting was a problem, so i inmediately turned it off. Instead of everything going back to normal, the computer crashed (the whole win10 saying "your computer ran into a problem :(" ) and now there is no signal. I connected the hdmi to the motherboard, tried to get into the bios or something, but no luck, my computer now wont display anything to my tv. Im guessing the computer is now displaying a resolution my tv wont recognize, but i have no idea how to change that. Any help is appreciated.
  11. Well its official, i got scammed. Seller wont answer me and i got nothing, ebay will hopefully refund me on the 10th
  12. I want to get a vr headset for my phone, and i was thinking of getting one that has headphones included. I want one because ive seen videos of people using software (intugame) to turn their phone into a cheap pc gaming vr solution. Thing is, there are many headsets on amazon in the $39- $60 price range which is the range im looking for, but i dont know which would be best. I have a samsung galaxy s7 active.
  13. Im making my first pc, and im making it gaming oriented (good gpu, cpu etc), however now im wondering what i should get for a hard drive. I see many options on amazon, some as low as $40 but im not sure if i should look for the cheapest deal. Atm im considering this one:
