  1. yeah, my main options are Cyberpuerta and MercadLibre. Both reputable and I have bought from those stores already multiple times. The problem with Amazon is that there's importing taxes and you don't really get specific number since it depends on the product and add to that shipping from US to here, which is usually 35-40 bucks on the cases I've seen. I've seen some cheap slim ones on Cyberpuerta but no specifics on the insides so it seems like the Inwin 301 is the only option that fits my requirements, the only thing that worries me is the cooling since I live in a hot area
  2. haven't bought it yet. And yeah... since I've been researching I realized that mATX is on a weird place, not many cases, you have to get a case designed for ITX or ATX that also supports mATX. I may actually end up going for an ITX build if I do end up getting another mobo but I'm waiting on RMA for my original gpu (is an ITX RX 570) but if that doesn't work out I just want to make this parts fit in a smaller case to make it mobile, not spend a ton and to put it on a shelf since I have a very cluttered desk and room, also my area has too much dust to put it on the floor. Wouldn't mind spending a little extra for a small build with the RX 570 and upgrade the gpu and cpu down the line if I get a chance but if I get stuck with the GT1030 it's too much to spend on a new mobo, new case, new cooling and an SFX PSU. The best option right now would be just a case I can fit my ATX PSU and fans but doesn't seem like mATX has too many options. I may just go for ITX if I don't find a convincing case
  3. thanks. Gonna take a look at those. I've been searching mostly on videos and reddit and seeing if I can get them at the stores that ship here in Mexico. I think $100 for the case is my limit since the parts are really not that special and I don't plan on any big upgrade anything time soon because of prices. And the Slim form factor would work since the 1030 I have is compatible and I have the plate
  4. I only have a 3.5" HDD and a 2.5" ssd. And an M.2 but that really doesn't matter. No need for optical drive. It seems that the option that makes the most sense is the Inwin 301 right now, can't find anything that size that isn't that expensive
  5. If you read my post it says which case I have and that I want a way smaller case and don't mind if it takes ATX PSU (which I have) or SFX (which I would have to buy). mATX is not the only characteristic I listed
  6. My GPU died 2 weeks ago and apparently killed my x16 PCIe slot (or the other way around) on my mATX mobo I have installed on my NR600. It kinda looked ridiculous because I'm using an mATX on a mid-tower but now I'm using a small profile GT 1030 and I'm thinking of repurposing this PC as a mobile Overcooked/Party games PC since I won't even get to fully use my GPU on the x4 PCIe slot on that mobo and don't want to carry this big case. I need some recommendations on a small form factor mATX case. Don't need much cooling since I'm using a Ryzen 2600 and the 1030 and if I have to buy an SFX power supply is no issue. The 2 "small" cases I've found is the NR400 and Q300L but they aren't that much smaller. Preferably a cheap case since I won't be putting exactly killer hardware
  7. Not sure that would make much difference, getting it from amazon with the exchange rate we have would probably not mean much and in my country we don't do the "black friday" thing much, just a couple of stores and is mostly for clothes, not so much for tech. But most likely I'm getting the money until next saturday, so maybe I'll wait to see If there's a good option, maybe I can get a better one about the same price considering the shipment and importation. Thanks for the suggestion
  8. I'm looking for a good a 1440p 25-27". My current best options seems to be BenQ PD2700Q which is 1440p@60Hz 27" IPS Panel. The only downside I'm seeing is the 60 Hz because I would like the smoothness. The monitor will be used for recording music, watching videos and some light gaming (what that 60Hz hurts the most). Can anyone recommend an alternative? I don't want to expend a lot more since I'm trying to save for a better PC and right now my 19" monitor is pretty annoying for productivity (FYI I'm from Mexico)
  9. I'm looking for an adapter to connect the output of my audio Interface (either 1/4 inch, 3.55mm or RCA) to my wired headphones without wires. I love my headphones and since I'm using an audio interface getting a Bluetooth transmitter for them and simple connecting them to my computer isn't an option since the output is my interface. I don't mind if the receiver connected to the interface is a little big but I want something as small as possible for the transmitter connected to the headphones. I'm also opened for another solution if anyone has another idea.
  10. Yeah, that one actually looks pretty good. I would have to let go my dream of a cheap mouse being useful and durable since I'm using it in school, work and gaming. Is 66 USD on Amazon right now, I think I'm going with that one.
  11. I want a wireless mouse with at least 2 shoulder buttons and decent size (I have big hands) that can be wireless but don't want to worry about charging AA batteries, at least not separately, is there any mouse like that? I've seen some Logitech ones that can charge through a microusb cable but can seem to find any other, not even the Logitech ones seem to mention that feature in the Amazon page, just in the official website, are there any other brands for that? I would like to spend around 30 USD.
  12. I'm with deX, the most likely is that the PSU isn't working properly but check on your temps to see if there is a problem there, but if that were the case the computer would be shutting down every once in a while or freezing.
  13. Did you unplug the SSD? If not, then do that and see if it posts. If it does the most likely is that the SSD is the problem either with the windows installation or is damaged. If you unplugged the SSD and still nothing then, do the fans starts off (the CPU cooling fan and the PSU fan)? If the PSU fan doesn't then either is OFF or the PSU doesn't work. And if the CPU fan doesn't turn on there may be problems with your motherboard or the PSU doesn't work properly and can't even stand the boot. I would advise you to short-circuit your PSU to see if it turns on without the motherboard connected but if you don't know anything about electronics I don't recommend you to. If the fans do turn on and everything seems to turn on properly try unplugging the graphics card and connect the HDMI/VGA cable directly to the motherboard. Then the problem is the graphics card or you need to first install the drivers to the GPU. If none of this help, sorry, the only way of troubleshooting I can think of is taking each component and connecting them to another system but you may not have another one or a friend who may let you try them.
  14. If you can't access to the BIOS with the SSD connected try to unplug it and then try to get into the BIOS, if everything is showing up and it doesn't freeze the error must be with your SSD. I had a problem like that with my laptop a few months ago where it wouldn't let me into the BIOS with the HDD connected so I just unplugged the drive and got access to the BIOS then I connected the drive to another computer as a secondary drive and reinstalled Windows 10 (keeping my files). Fixing a Windows install doesn't work most of the time unless is a startup problem, I would recommend just wipe the drive and reinstall. If the computer won't boot without the drive then your problem is elsewhere.
