  1. I would make sure that all your drivers are updated for the motherboard. Also, make sure the NVMe is seated correctly. From there you may need to make a volume for the disk.
  2. I needed to do a project for my school and I thought of this. Now that I looked into it, its a lot easier than I thought it would be. Plus, the two games I had in mind have their own server manager in the game files and there you can make your own server using their resources. I am using a Hyper-V because I have one pc and I was planning on running it in the backround and maybe remoting into it. With that said, can I connect to my server from another network and would I do that through port forwarding?

  4. All of that makes sense but how do I connect to that server to host a track? This seems easy but am I just over over complicating it?
  5. I am confused and wondering how to make a VM with Windows Server 2016 that runs as a gaming server. What roles and features would I need on that server? I want to make a dedicated server for either Wreckfest or Assetto Corsa. I did do some research but it says I can just change a file in notepad and save it which should work. I don't want to do this as I want an actual server that I made. Any tips or advice?
  6. I am just wondering if the Plus version of this phone is worth it. It's only $20 more expensive than the Blu Vivo XL3. I currently have an iPhone 5c.
  7. Yes it can change you brain. http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-34255492 People have been doing studies for years now, especially in the recent 5 years. Theres proof it lowers your attention span and other things that I forget off the top of my head. Addicted also means, "enthusiastically devoted to a particular thing or activity.
  8. Can I be addicted to the competitiveness of video games??? I quit sports due to an injury and video games feeds that competitiveness in a way. Yeah sometimes I do it when I'm bored but not all the time.
  9. Why isn't gaming a addition? Explain I would say I am also addicted to it. I need to play everyday and if I don't, I don't feel like my day is complete.
  10. Just curious, but why hasn't Microsoft added a temp monitoring feature in task manager. It would be convenient don't you think?
  11. I just tried it and it make a small difference but still wasn't 100% smooth. Even in CSGO my fps goes from 90 to 144. Should be way over 200.
  12. I'll try that when I get home but I hate things like bloom and lens flare enabled....Makes things harder to see.
  13. This is my current build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Hbz4XH. Just recently, while I was playing Rocket League, my fps just drops to 112 give or take. I usually limit it to 144 fps ingame but I know my gtx 1080 can easily hit 250 fps in RL. So then I try BF1 and my mouse /aiming is lagging. Yes I have a slight overclock with the gpu but nothing unstable. There is no overheating and I tried removing the oc and it did nothing. And I also reinstalled the drivers for the gpu and I tried old drivers. Also, something weird is that when in an online game my fps seems slightly lower then being offline.
  14. Yeah, I'll do that tonight. Thanks for the advice!
