  1. Hey! It's been what, 10? years? since I last upgraded my screens and hoo boy has things changed a lot. Back then it was just finding a monitor with 60hz for gaming and an LED monitor will do nicely for content consumption. Now I'm stuck here, looking at three dozen screens that say they're HDR and have great picture quality but are also somehow able to do 144hz or more. And other screens that say they're HDR with meh Hz, so I'm honestly a little confused. TL;DR: I'm gonna upgrade my two monitors, one for gaming (Gsync compatible), one for content consumption (Videos, films, looking at pictures etc) I'm thinkning 2k should be plenty resolution for both, and I'd like the size to be around 27 inches. Budget is ~400-500 dollars per screen What do you guys and gals recommend?
  2. Repetitive noise, engines; industrial coolers and the like.
  3. Hey! My old Bose somethingsomething earplugs died on me after roughly 5-6 years of use (even survived TWO trips through the washer and drier), and I'm looking to get some new ones. My parameters are as following: In ear, noise cancellation, and wired. 1. In ear because I can't stand the bulk of a headset when I'm out and about, and use a helmet a lot. (And I don't want to mess up my hair) 2. Noise cancellation because I work in a noisy environment, and I travel a fair bit. 3. Wired because I'd like the ease of mind of not having to charge another device just so I can listen to music. (If the battery runs out I can still listen to music, just won't have NC). So my choice fell on the Bose QuietComfort 20 for android, but it's almost half a decade old now, and they still want 300-320 USD for the damn things (in Norway). Is it a smart buy still, or am I paying a hefty price for old outdated technology? Should I go for the apple version instead (~250 USD) and forego all the handy remote features? Thanks in advance for any input!
  4. Thanks for the reply everyone! I went for the G502, it was a bit narrower than expected, will take some getting used to for sure. The braided wire was kind of messed up right out of the box, which i found disheartening as the mouse costs 780 NOK here (or 122 Canadian Pesos). Other than that I'm really enjoying the mouse, the "unlockable" scroll wheel has been infinitely useful in daily use. Attached is a picture of the janky wire.
  5. Hey! My trusty Microsoft Sidewinder has sadly passed away, and I am now looking for a decent gaming mouse. What I really enjoyed about the sidewinder was the three hardware DPI buttons which i found infinitely useful while gaming. Do you guys know of any similar mice to the Sidewinder that isn't thrash? Thanks in advance!
