  1. Hi, I am looking to build a computer in a Fractal Design Core 500 case, I was wondering if i need a blower style cooler for my gtx 1070 or will a open air cooler do. Because open air cooler 1070s are cheaper over here.
  2. Hahaha yeah I should have thought harder about buying the 1060. I have tried reinstalling my entire OS but it still feels a little sluggish, could my CPU be heat damaged after running at around 100 degrees celcius for a month?
  3. Or more simply put the price of a Motherboard Z170 combo with an i5-6600k is around the same price as a evga 1070 ftw in my country(Singapore). So what would you do if you had to pick one out of the 2 option? ( I mean i could do both but it would bit a teeny bit painful, i just want to consider all options)
  4. How about the option of changing my motherboard to a Z77 as my current MSI B75MA -P45 cant overclock my i5-3570k. Would doing that be more cost efficient and be able to hit similar performance?
  5. What are all your thoughts on the most efficient per dollar way to increase my computer's performance, because as much as 1000 bucks is my budget I would really like to cut where I can.
  6. My current build: CPU: Intel i5-3570k Mobo: MSI B75MA -P45 Ram: 16gb DDR3-1333Mhz (8gb x2) OS: Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB Data: 3TB WD Brown Drive Case: Sharkoon MidTower Case (not sure about exact model) Graphics: Palit Superjetstream gtx 1060 PSU: Seasonic 520W 80PLUS Bronze Certified PSU My computer is a few years old and has recently started to slow down for tasks like chrome and rocket league has been running at 90% CPU usage(My CPU also ran at around 100 degrees Celsius for about a month before I added a cryorig H7). I recently upgraded to a GTX 1060 replacing a 660ti with noticable improvements, but i still cant hit the magical 144 fps to match my 144 hz monitor. I have a budget of about 1000 bucks but hope to keep it in the 500-1000 dollar range. What would you do to up the performance of the above rig? I was thinking of either getting a new mobo that would let me OC the 3570k, going to skylake completely (i5-6600k) or the gtx 1070. Your help is much appreciated!
